body heat meme

Post with your character! They're now stuck in a very cold place of your choice. It can be anything, such as a freezing chamber, a cavern or a small cabin in the midst of a blizzard. The choice is up to you.
Comment around! Now your character has some company in this bone-chilling environment. The two of them share two things in common: clothes completely unfitting for this weather (be they summer clothes or even lingerie) and a blanket.
A blanket? Yes, just one warm blanket and no other ways to escape the cold. The two of them will have to share it in order to stay alive in this weather. Don't worry, you're sure to find a common language in this terrible situation!
So, uh, have fun, I suppose. Try to not freeze to death!
Protip: friction and body heat are both excellent ways to fend off cold.

[ His gaze is curious as he wonders what she'll say next. ]

[Her expression is always more open around Mike than anyone else and right now is no exception. There's sadness in her eyes but there's a small smile on her face. She hasn't even told Hopper that much about Kali yet. She'd wanted to talk to Mike first.]
no subject
Is she... like you? [ He taps his fingers gently against her 011 tattoo above her wrist to make his question clearer. ]
no subject
Yes. Eight.
[She pauses.]
Kali. She's older. In Chicago. I went there.
no subject
So... what's she like? Is she nice?
no subject
[She smiles a little, even if she'd been secretly amused by Hopper's reaction. She'd still been kind of mad at him and also she didn't feel sorry that she'd gone to Chicago. She'd needed to go.]
A nice man in a truck drove me.
[And now it gets more complicated.]
Yes, but... [She looks uncertain, then props herself up on one elbow so she can look at him better, expression troubled.]
She's going after them. The bad men.
no subject
After them? Like... hunting them down? [ He bites his lip, concern etching his features. ] On her own?
no subject
Yes. [She hesitates for a moment.] With friends. [Not all of whom she trusted by any means.]
I helped find one.
[She lets her gaze drop.]
no subject
What happened after you found them? [ He could guess what happened, what Kali wanted to do him, but Mike wants to know the details. He wants to know how Eleven felt about it. ]
no subject
Wanted to hurt him. [And by hurt she means kill.] He hurt Mama. [Her voice is barely audible.]
I couldn't.
no subject
I would have wanted to, too... [ Hell, he wanted to kill “Papa” when he saw his hands on her at the lab. ] But that would have made you like the bad men, and you’re not like them. [ He cups her cheek with his palm, encouraging her to look at him. ] You’re a good person. That’s why you couldn’t.
no subject
She's good, too. Just wrong.
no subject
Are you glad you met her?
no subject
Yes. But I miss her.
[She knows, though, that she'd done the right thing. Made the right choice by coming back and not staying with Kali. She doesn't want her entire life to be about the Bad Men. There hadn't really been a choice to make. Mike and her friends had been in trouble and the decision had been made without any thought. She had to help them, simple as that.
Eleven gazes at him for a moment, then leans in slowly and kisses his lips, soft and sweet before pulling away.]
no subject
[ He’s so busy talking about Eleven’s sister that he doesn’t see the kiss coming, surprised at first, especially since she’s never initiated one between them before. Then he gently returns it, smiling as she pulls back. ]
What was that for?
no subject
[And some tiny part of her had wanted to. But she knew even then that her home was here in Hawkins, with Hopper. With Mike. Who's smile is so infectious that a smile spreads across her face now, too.]
Wanted to.
no subject
You could have stayed with her, but you chose Hawkins?
no subject
[She'd seen him, in trouble, and the thought of him being hurt was almost too much to think about. She rests her hand on his arm.]
This is my home.

You won't leave town like that again, will you? Without me? And the others? [ But mostly him. ]
no subject
I won't leave you again. [She pauses.] Promise.
no subject
Next time Hopper's working late and you want to see me, tell me to come over instead. I don't want you out there freezing like this again. Especially in the snow.
no subject
But then you'll be cold instead.
no subject
[ He'll always put her first, something she should figure out if she hasn't already. ]
