She was only here, with these people, as part of a rather long-term plan. She was undercover - "undercover" in only the most bare of meanings, relying mostly on the distance of her own lands from human and elven ones to give her some form of anonymity. Which mostly worked; few looked past her looks aside from noting white instead of green skin, got stuck on the tusks, and dismissed her.
Which suited Vala fine. More than fine. She had things to do, which didn't include people realising or caring about who she was. The only problem came from having to tie said plans up with this group of people, since there was marginally less suspicion thrown her way when she was surrounded by humans and elves who, at least in the name of expediency tolerated her.
Which was all she could say for them in return, except, somehow, one of their party. It was quite annoying to slowly realise her gaze had started to stray to one face in particular through the journey, looking for smiles...
Folly.
She had things to do, both here and now and at home, that certainly neither included nor really had space for this, and yet here she was. Sitting down a trifle ungracefully in her annoyance, ready for her watch and to try and ignore this revelation, she found her eyes still tracking sideways towards the fire, and Cecelia.

[no smut, but open to the rest]
[OK so I'm not sure where to go with this but I saw a Toward Terra muse and I had to do something! Since this cybergal is from something like 2300-2500AD and Earth is an awful place and her setting also has (some) space travel and quasi-psychic powers, I think they can AU together... she could be AU'd into Toward Terra as having been (sort of forcibly) recruited by SD, only to end up rebelling against them; or he could be AU'd into Battle Angel as an exceptionally powerful psychokinetic probably hiding from both her bosses on Tiphares, and the Barjack rebels on the surface. I figure probably they end up fighting back-to-back, and shippy things ensue.
I'm up for discussing whatever prompts you want, although I suspect 1, 3, 9, 13, 19, or 20 (non-smut as requested!) would probably work best!]
