When it comes to the way affection is shown, everyone has a different way they go about it. That means that there's a pretty good chance, with regards to couples, you could end up with two people who have two varying approaches towards how they prove they care...sometimes radically varying, which can lead to more than a little confusion or hurt feelings if there's not proper communication. But when both people are on the same page, they can tell each other how they feel with few words.

I'm not ashamed to say I was really happy when it happened even if I do love Billy :P

Billy was already there when Kitty entered the room, sprawled on the sofa with his tie loose and the phone pressed to his ear as he dealt with whatever business he still had even after hours.

She's already ordered dinner and the delivery should arrive within the next half hour, but until then there was nothing else to do but wait.

Without interrupting him, Kitty slides her hands over his shoulders and presses a kiss to the back of his neck, muttering a quiet hello into his hair while her hands knead at tense muscles.

I cheered a bit, I was waiting for it and waiting for it but I also cringed because the sound, the sound.

No rest for the wicked. Is that the saying? Well, Billy is pretty wicked, so of course he's on the phone, putting in the final plans for his next operation. He does spare a wave for Kitty, then covers the phone with a hand so he can tip his head for a quick but proper kiss

"Yeah, that's right. Ten am. Anyone not there by ten to ten, cut them from the team." He presses the end call button. "Mm. Hello, beautiful."

right? It was heartbreaking but I'm so excited for him to become Jigsaw and all that raw emotion... *chin hands*

While Billy finishes up his conversation, Kitty pours them both a drink and drops down onto the couch beside him, offering him one while she tucks herself under his arm, feet pulled up beneath her.

"Hi." Kissing him again, Kitty smiles. "Dinner's on the way and I ordered all your favourites."

"Now how did I," he asks, taking his drink between kisses, "get to be so lucky?" He means it, too. Billy's never really actively sought this, never knew how to or if he could manage it. But here he is, and it's pretty easy because Kitty makes it easy. Absently, he teases his fingers through her hair.

"Honestly?" Kitty takes a sip of her own drink and turns so that she can rest her chin against his shoulder, knees resting against his thighs. The smile on her face is soft, one that she reserves just for him. "I have no idea. Must be all that charm, Mr. Russo."
