Eliot yawned as he sat up. Lyla was crying again. It felt like he'd had no sleep at all for the last week since she'd gotten sick. He glanced at the clock. 2:38 AM. About an hour before she was due for her medicine.

He rubbed his eyes and walked over to her crib. "Come on, baby girl," he whispered. "It's not time for ya to be awake yet. Mama and Daddy need to sleep."

When Natasha came home, the first thing she would notice would have been the smell of something burning. Or something burnt. If she followed her nose, the source of that smell would be revealed as the kitchen, and upon entering she would see a very put out looking young Wilson. An apron wrapped around her waist, she had a tray of about two dozen burnt, black lumps on the counter beside her, lumps that could have been cookies or cupcakes or rolls but were now charred black and completely unrecognisable.

The kitchen itself looked like a bomb had gone off in it, eggshells on the floor, flour all over the place, sticky, doughy handprints on pretty much everything, the sink overflowing with a myriad of measuring cups, dirty bowls and empty bottles of flavoring and all manner of ingredients. In the middle of all this, Rose stood, irately flipping through the same two pages of a recipe book, her side turned to the door. She seemed to be mumbling to herself, if one came closer, they would be able to make it out as a quiet string of never ending curse words.

Looks like someone had been trying their hand at baking, and for the moment, she hadn't noticed Natasha's return.

[Tim would hardly call what he had with Eric a relationship. It was more like an agreement - an agreement that in exchange for not having his heart ripped out on account of his flippant tongue, Tim would allow Eric to use his home as a pit stop from time to time, for whatever reason (Tim never bothered himself with the specifics). All in all, it was an arrangement that worked out pretty well, granted they both stuck to the agreement. And part of that agreement included, among other things, no fucking body parts or bodily fluids of any kind next to the milk.

With a disgruntled sigh, he rolled up his sleeves and grabbed the rubber cleaning gloves, properly sheathing his hands before reaching for the bloody, seeming fresh, blob of...whatever it was and dropping it mercilessly into the garbage.]
