The Shouldn't Consummate Meme

For all intents and purposes, the two of you are already together. Okay, at the very least, there's a spark, and it's been noticed. At the very most, perhaps there's been a love confession. Whatever it may be between you, love or lust, you've, oddly enough, not made the one plunge: you've yet to sleep together.

Why not? It's complicated. It always is. There's something that keeps you from making that full commitment to intimacy, and whether that comes from physical or mental blocks doesn't make too much difference. Tonight, though, you've decided to put all of it behind it. You're going to consummate your relationship, no matter what guilt or complication you may be left with.

This will work. It's worth it, at any rate.

[ Bubble is a shape-shifting alien, which means she can look (and sound) like anyone or anything. Additionally, she prides herself on being a top-notch artist and does her best to provide a full fantasy for her partner/client. Neither gender nor species is of any real importance to her.

I prefer more consensual encounters on equal footing, since she is a sex worker in canon who doesn't seem too crazy about the prostitution aspect, but I'll play anything.

[ooc: if he's too old, I totally understand. But if not, I'm thinking perhaps a mix of the three. Where in for all his tankiness, he's still human, so physical. Emotionally, both of them have issues. And morally, Rein's got his whole adventuring crusader sworn to protect the innocent thing going on for him. And Thor's got the whole damn universe to worry about.]

Thor Odinson. This was never someone that Reinhardt would have ever thought he would be so attracted to. Perhaps it was because they were so alike in a lot of ways. Sometimes, when he looked at Thor, he could see a little of his younger self in the man. They're both loudly boisterous. They can both drink a bar dry and still walk back as sober as when they left it. Hell, they both use hammers for a main weapon in the fight to protect people. They are heroes.

But that is where their similarities end. Because Thor is a god. Thor is an Avenger. He's loved by so many. Reinhardt knows he doesn't need the love of one lone Crusader. Thor should have someone worthy of his glory. And yet...and yet. Reinhardt can't contain his feelings for his fellow hero. He's done. Done being a coward. Done not saying anything and once more losing someone that he cares about.

So he finds himself once more seeking out Thor. Who knows if the God has gone back to Asgard yet or not, but he hopes not. He doesn't want Thor to leave back to his world or to seek out the shiny rocks or whatever he needs to do without at least getting one last drink and telling Thor how he feels.

They've been tiptoeing around the issue for years now.

Loki usually isn't one to be prudent when it comes to his sexual exploits, but Thor... Thor is different. They're brothers, and more often than not they've found themselves on opposing sides. Even then, the issue has been raised in one way or another, only to be put aside for sometime later.

That's about to change.

Loki is in Thor's 'chambers,' if his room on the ship can be called that, gazing upon his new King. They've come so far to make it here, together in the same room, without any obvious ill will between them. It's time to stop hesitating and start doing.

"I'm not sure I can stand to wait much longer." Loki steps closer, magicking away his coat in the process. Of course they've both been extremely busy lately, but now they have a little time for themselves. Why not take advantage of it? "What about you, Thor?"

“We’ll be there soon enough,” Thor says mildly, touching the edge of the metal dome concealing where his eye had once been. Thor isn’t vain by any strength of the word. He’s suffered worse even, having had his hair shorn as if shamed in battle, braids of rank and consequence and promise neatly trimmed down to nothing. It will grow back but it’s hurt his pride. The now missing eye, however, doesn’t shame him. To be scarred in battle is to be blessed with history and with proof of winning. But he’s never had this. He’s never been capable of sustaining a wound. He’s almost never seen his blood before.

It’s given him pause as he touches it and, perhaps to be expected, what Loki says goes right over his head. His focus is on something other than himself, and that’s a rather new occurrence for the Thunderer. He has so much more to worry about now.

When Loki appears behind him in the mirror as he walks over, coat gone and the recessed ship lighting catching his hair on fire around the edges, Thor turns.

“We will likely need to stay aboard this vessel for some time while we build. Father wishes us to settle in Norway but we can not simply take the land. This will take time. And I have been away from Earth for so long. They do not appreciate that. One must call or e-mail even when one is on a quest to save the universe,” he mutters, missing the look in Loki’s eyes.
