Well, there hadn't been any battles - just a fruitless patrol. A patrol that had let Peri's mind wander, and when her mind wandered and she got bored she needed something to do.

[ it wasn't too often that the fox demon cooked. normally when he did it was due to the fact that his mother was out of the house for a certain amount of days, traveling with her new husband. and that certainly was the reason why he was in the kitchen at the very moment with a ready pot and prepped ingredients on the counter.

unfortunately, that all seems to have been forgotten momentarily as Kurama seems to be too preoccupied with Hiei on a different part of the counter, bent over just to ensure their lips remained connected as their hands worked to expose just enough skin on one another.

Hiei had originally stopped by once he learned that Kurama's family was out for a while. Kurama naturally stayed behind due to his "studies." when the topic of food came to mind, Kurama suggested that they cook something together, and while Hiei had seemed disinterested at first, he quickly warmed up to the idea, easily helping in gathering the ingredients and even cutting them up.

the long time apart, however, was steadily catching up to them, and soon enough their minds were far from the dish they were planning to prepare. teasing touches and an occasional brush against one another pushed both of them far enough, and soon they were engaged in a rather heated kiss, complete with nips at each other's bottom lip and tongues clashing with one another.

Sheena had been made aware of a new summon spirit that was in a long forgotten temple. The monsters there were light enough that she was able to go there by herself with no trouble. Which given the nature of the spirit she was about to make a pact with she'd soon discover this was a very good thing.

Getting to her worked the same as usual. Reaching the end of the temple where an altar was. The stone long crumbled obscuring much of what was there when it was in use. The people had long forgotten her.

The spirit appeared before Sheena in a peculiar form for someone of her kind. A blonde woman wearing loose-fitting white robes. She introduced herself in bright and chipper voice "You who bears the right of the pact. I am one who is bound to no one. You may call me Alice. What is your name?"

After introduction were over she said "I am not like the others. Fighting is not my domain. Instead I must test your passion as a pact-maker."

That was the only warning before Sheena would see Alice shed her scant clothing and immediately move forward to kiss her firmly on the lips. Now that she was close in Sheena would be able to pick up the scent of sweet-smelling incense on the summon spirit. They wouldn't have any effect, but between this and the challenge she presented Sheena might get some idea of what domain used to belong to this spirit.
