Badou walked up to the house, with a grin already spreading across his face just from the dull thumping rhythm of the bass spilling outside onto the patio. Another day, another party, another impending hangover, induced by too many drinks, too many drugs, and too much loud music. At least here, he could let loose, be as wild as he wanted, and have no one to try to talk sense into him.
It wasn't really anyone's fault that they all thought he needed saving. Who wouldn't want to save him - a pure mess of a teenager, who'd already gathered a good handful of scars and lost an eye at such a young age.
A half smoked cigarette hung from his lips and the smoke lightly drifted into the air. The house was already packed and here he was thinking he was probably early. Someone handed him a drink as he approached, before a body rudely bumped into him from behind, causing him to spill half of it over his hand. His mood immediately turned sour and he turned, green eye narrowed into a glare.
"Yo! Watch where you're going, are you fucking blind?!"
