My Happiness

If we're honest, fictional characters can be generalized into two camps: 1. good people who have crap happen to them or 2. just crappy people. But bad or good, cheery or grouchy, undeserving or no, we sometimes shamelessly want them to have something nice in life. Or, more accurately, someone nice. A certain someone to give them kisses and their favorite foods, to make sure they have a blanket when they fall asleep, and maybe to whisk them away on fun dates/adventures? If they're lucky, this somebody may even give killer back rubs. Or maybe your particular character of choice will do all this for the one who brings a little light to their life. This person makes them happier than they've ever been, after all, and this means they're loyal for life.

But forget your shame, okay? No judgement here. This is just a cute meme for all your gross (shipping) needs, where your character can get all the happiness they deserve...or don't. Whatever!

Comment with your character's info, your prefs, all those goodies. You can also include info about what would make your character really happy or if there's a particular role you'd like to play (maybe the one doing the cheering up, or if they're cheered up, they're the one who'll dote all over their companion?).

Open to pretty much anything. Marvels especially loved - bonus points for ones that would be considered "cracky" crossovers like the Avengers or serious, street-level heroes. ]

[ He's a sweet boy who'll look after you and do his best to give you everything, especially domestically since he loves that stuff. But he's also an idol so he has a lot of pressure on his shoulders, and he's generally quite anxious. Either option is fine, as is crosscanon! Info here. ]

I love assumed CR, crossovers (♥ ♥ ♥), convoluted scenarios, combustive attraction, bickering, first time, arranged marriage AUs, culture differences, ingenue/gruff, worldly man, inhuman characters, Beauty and the Beast dynamics because duh, fairy tale/fantasy settings, magic, passionate reunions, redoing first times that didn't go so well. sneaky trysts, risk of discovery, emotions spilling out in private, and much, much more.

Ridiculously into Tolkienverse (dwarves yes pls), ASOIAF/GOT, HP (my kingdom for a Newt Scamander or Lupin), and MCU right now and equally into AUing Belle to fit in any of them, but check out my slightly embarrassing dream list of shit I'd like to play. ]

[It had been a first for her. Hearing the clap of the thunder, the flashing in the clouds above. The rain felt as though it was stinging her skin with every drop. Exciting, terrifying. It had been luck that they had reached shelter before it had gotten worse. If it could get worse. K31 didn't want to find out.]

Well, that was unexpected, wasn't it?

[She emerges from the bathroom now, laughing a bit as she returns to Gabriel's side. She glances at the window, veiled now with a relentless flood of water. The sight unnerved her. Like she was trapped in a cage all over again. Her eyes return to the man before her.]

You'll catch a cold if you just stand there.

[Something she has heard, but never experienced. But now she was much more concerned for her companion's well being. K31 takes care draping the towel over his soaked head, drawing the corners forward to brush against his cheeks. She offers him a gentle smile.]

You're alright aren't you?

[ Gabriel on the other hand was more familiar with storms, and so all this really is is aninconvenience. They weren't in any rush to get anywhere but their respective homes, so really all this was doing was keeping him from cleaning up his kitchen and falling asleep watching TV.

When Kei comes out from the bathroom, he shakes himself loose from his thoughts, managing a smile when she steps closer. ]

Mm, just a little. The weather didn't say anything about storms...[ Or maybe it did and he wasn't paying attention, who knows. ]

Nah...a little rain never hurt anyone. [ As if on cue, a lightning strike flashes across the sky, as if to highlight the understatement of the century. The towel is very much welcomed though. He'd let her use the bathroom to dry off first - manners and all - but it did mean he'd stood here dripping all over the place.

At least he wasn't shivering. Despite it's drawbacks, running hot was a small silver lining to the whole Lycan thing.

The towel is unexpected, but his smile becomes a shy grin when it's draped over his head,
even more so when she brushes the corners against his face. It's been a while since he's really had any physical contact not intended to hurt him, so even though it's a small gesture, it's one he's careful to enjoy. ]

I'm fine, really - don't worry. I've been through worse than a storm. That being said, I'd give a kidney for a coffee right about now.

[She's the grouch who never wants to admit that she wishes she had a someone. She has trust and personal space issues, and it'd be great if someone wanted to try and get past that. Except she sees herself as too broken (read: abuse survivor) to be worth anyone's time and effort. So, she buries herself in work to make up for the lack of any kind of love life.]
