Warning:  Be aware that this meme may deal with dark subjects as well as cracky subjects and may also contain non-consensual/dubiously consensual sex, violence, and kink.

1. Amnesia - The staple of any good (?) soap opera.  Maybe your character had a flower pot fall on their head.  Maybe they were in a horrible car accident.  Maybe they were in a coma for five years.  Either way, now they can't remember who they are.  Friendships might be ruined!  Enemies might take advantage!  Inconvenient flashbacks might be had!

2. Evil Twins - What?  You told your boss to stuff his job up his ass, broke up with your lover, and then burnt down your house and you don't remember any of it?  Don't worry, you're not having a psychotic break.  It was just your evil twin.  Everyone's got one right? 

3. Blackmail - Remember that one thing you did wrong years and years ago?  Well now it's coming back to haunt you.  Someone found out and they're going to use it to make you do whatever they want.

4. Secretly Royalty - Everyone always thought that you were just some regular shmo living out your life.  Well the jokes on them, you're secretly a Prince/Princess from Bullshitteria!  That's a good thing right?  It couldn't possibly make your life more complicated.

5. Love Triangle - You love her, but she loves him, and he loves you...can't this be solved with a game of naked Twister?

6. Brainwashed - Someone evil has just done evil science things to your brain!  You're carrying out their evil deeds unless someone can snap you out of it in time.

7. Stop that Wedding - There's a wedding going on.  A terribly wrong wedding.  You need to stomp all over it before they say I do.

8. Secret Affair - Uh oh, someone is being naughty.  You'd better hope no one finds out what you're doing.
