[Giorno talks. More accurately, Giorno talks a lot. The only thing that might vary is his motivation for talking so much.]
[Sometimes he's just showing off. Most of the time, Giorno pretends not to know a whole lot about some things if he thinks it'll make the other person feel better about themselves or if he can use it to his advantage. (Which depends entirely on who his conversation partner is, but there are more people who find that feigned ignorance is a weapon than those who do not.) Sometimes he's just filling the air with some noise. Sometimes he's just making himself seem more approachable while he's subtly tightening the noose.]
[There are times, however, when it is none of those things that keep him talking.]
[It's rare, but sometimes his distraction is less a deflection with the intent to cause harm so much as a nearly transparent means of hiding how nervous he is. Part of her wants to be cruel and leave him writhing about with his words because like Giorno, not every part of Trish is soft even if she doesn't have as many sharp edges as he does. Part of her just wants to start laughing not out of maliciousness, but just at how utterly foolish it is that this boy who could snap his fingers and will most anything into existence (either by the power of his Stand or his political clout) can't seem to get to the point. Part of her is impatient because she's a little anxious, too. She shows it even less than Giorno does, but she feels it sometimes and sometimes it happens around Giorno.]
[But this is foolish. It's foolish and ridiculous and she just leans in and pecks him quickly on the lips.]

[It's not news to anyone that Connor makes poor choices. Asking out a guy he's seen hanging around waiting for what he presumes are therapy appointments in the same building as Connor's might cross over the expected threshold of stupid, though.
The first time he met the guy, they only exchanged a brief and cursory excuse me as they wormed by each other in the hallway, a mumble and a look that bled into an awkward, silent elevator ride. Connor had punched the floor button too hard. The sound of it under his fist had made him overly conscious of how this stranger must be perceiving him the same way everyone else does. Scary. Aggressive. He got out a floor early, took the stairs the rest of the way up, and felt his face flood with embarrassment when the other boy was sitting in his waiting room.
The second time around, Connor stared at his hands and rapidly tapped his foot, wondering if this mystery guy's parents were as well off as his. If that was why they could afford to send him some place like this, somewhere with multiple so-called 'experts', and modern furniture, and TVs in the waiting rooms that didn't look like they'd come out of the stone age. He wondered if mystery guy ever wished his parents spent less and cared more, too.
It's the third time they share a room that Connor realises how hot he is, actually, and that was probably the last thing he needed to be thinking about before getting his brain picked. But he has a big stupid mouth that does big stupid things, and the TV is droning and catty talk show hosts are driving him insane, and nails digging into his palms, he spits out:]
You're not listening to this shit, are you?
