There is a small cafe, tucked away somewhere in Paris. A place of local urban myth and dreams (the sort that often pop up in larger cities). When most look at the address, they see an alleyway that could only be loved by rats and thieves. The few that remember such a place also say that the cafe is particular about who it lets in. There is a door, for instance, that can only be found by those that know how to find it (when the cafe so desires to be found) and opened only if knocked in the right way. Local legends have also come to insist that it is only the innocent and pure of heart that this cafe opens itself up to, but, on closer research, one can find that the origin of such an addition came from overzealous parents with little means of bribery.

Submitted for your approval, as evidence to successfully discredit that final ridiculous assertion: a figure enters the cafe, with a red book in hand and very little by way of innocence or purity of organs. His eyes appear dark and his hair light (perhaps a little too light). He wears a scaly, three-piece suit (in a cut that was, perhaps, fashionable in this quadrant a century or two ago) and a most unusual accessory for him: a broad smile. He approaches a thinner man, seated at a table in the corner.

Holding the book out, he asks, "You are the writer of this book?" The book? A rare, somewhat worn-out first edition bearing the title Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them.
