SCENARIOS:

1. The Really Long Line. It's a very popular ride. You have to wait at least an hour before it's your turn. You're sure that you're tall enough to ride, right? Why not make some friends while you wait?
2. Merry-go-rounds & Teacups. Feel like a princess/prince/royalty of your choice on your ceramic coach or hard plastic steed!
3. The Haunted House. It's creepy and it's spooky. Please refrain from punching the scarers, they're only doing their jobs.
4. The Tunnel of Love. An entire boat ride dedicated to getting people to kiss.
5. Go-karts & Bumper Cars. A perfect ride for friends, enemies and turtle-like monsters.
6. Stuck in a Ferris Wheel. The ride is experiencing some technical difficulties. You and your partner are stuck in that tiny cart for an indefinite period of time.
7. Post-Roller Coaster Bliss. Exhilarated? Nauseous? Do you want to go again?
8. The Night Parade. Mascots! Floats! Fireworks! Will you be watching with the crowd or in the privacy of your own rented hotel room? Or maybe you joined the parade yourself!
9. Resting In-between Rides. Get some food. Badger the mascots. Maybe take some photos!
10. Other. Anything else that you decide.

ROLES:

1. Visitor. You're here with your friends/family/date to have a good time.
2. Staff. You're here to earn some money. Sure, the mascots kind of smell from the inside, some visitors are mean and rumor has it that the animatronics do weird things at night. But a job's a job!

[ After wildly running around, she suddenly skids to a stop. Now standing in front of the haunted house, as if rooted to the spot. ]

Ooooh!

[ —as if imitating the very sound effects coming from within. Getting into the spirit of Halloween isn't something she's used to as Japan didn't exactly celebrate Halloween, even if the concept wasn't new to her. She's a little separated from her friends, but hardly seems to notice as she absentmindedly chews on a swirl of fluffy cotton candy, blinking wide-eyed at the dark, gaping maw of an entrance.

She's seen scarier things in her short span of attending the academy, but still, there's something about the intentionally spooky aesthetic that gives her little goosebumps. Not really afraid, but still slightly hesitant to barrel inside the attraction. She lets out a small laugh, looking around her for the first time to see where her friends might've wandered off to. ]

Looks a little creepy, but I wonder what it's like inside...

The ferris wheel would be popular on a day like this, Aki thinks, such clear weather draws people to its view, of course and she cranes her head a little to glance up at the top carts, currently being dragged across the blue of the sky. All around the sounds are of merriment, girls squealing, boys laughing, Aki came here with her colleagues, but at some point she lost sight of the others and decided against looking for them too aimlessly in the crowd. They're bound to contact her, she knows and has her phone ready in her jeans' pocket, just in case. In the meantime, she's stuck in this line with no one for company, feeling particularly overheated and thirsty. Not that she complains. Aki is not the complaining type, if she's learned nothing else from ballet, she's learned to endure. Many things. She manages a slight smile and shifts from one foot to the other, bumping into the person behind her at the movement. Quickly she turns around and offers a half-bow and a heartfelt I'm terribly sorry.

[Akira knew exactly what he was getting into when he agreed to go to the amusement park with his fellow "evil" leader. The guy may be a troublemaker, but at least he's a fun one. Plus he can always bail if things get too out of hand. He likes Kokichi, but not enough to let his own criminal record get longer because of him.

As expected, the day has been quite eventful so far, but in an entertaining way. It'd be nice if that could continue. Of course, it's after he thinks that that the ferris wheel breaks down while they're at the very top. Ugh, really? It's a good thing that Akira isn't afraid of heights, at least.

Despite his annoyance, he gives Kokichi a wry smile.] If you wanted an intimate moment with me, Oma-kun, all you had to do was ask.

They've both just topped off corn dogs, popcorn, and plenty of soda...which of course means Ellie wants to ride the teacups.]

People getting sick on these things hardly ever happens.

[The line's short, and it's not like they have anything better to do. Which means Ellie smirks and takes off toward the teacups at a run. If she gets in line before Sam stops her, they'll have to ride.]

[They're in line for a haunted house, and Ellie's a little skeptical that this is a good idea. It takes a whole lot to scare her, but she doesn't want to be responsible for freaking her friend out. Though she guesses friend might be a technical term. They just met earlier that night, back in a long line for the Ferris Wheel. Since they were both avoiding the adults who had brought them, they thought it made sense to pair off and hang out for a while. ]

It looks like it might be scary.

[She makes air quotes as she says scary, and pulls a funny face like a monster might make. Laughing at herself after she does it, she contorts her face into another look, and this time brings her hands up to accent the ridiculousness. The line moves forward, and Ellie shuffles ahead just like that, a silly zombie. ]

[ An amusement park probably seemed like a terrible place to take someone like him, but at the same time it was also Perfect. There was a lot of things there for him to be entertained by, and it also takes the pressure off Shuichi being forced into the role of an entertainer for once.

The only problem with that is when a ride breaks down. ]

You know I once heard a story where this happened before, then the entire big wheel collapsed into the water below it and crushed a couple that was inside!

[ Despite the awful topic, he doesn't seem unfazed by it. ] But that was just a story, of course. It won't really happen. [ He pauses to peek over the edge, expression shifting into a grimace. ] Aw, man... This is much higher up than I thought.
