① Station → You come from a royal, noble, or otherwise distinguished family who has chosen a suitable spouse for you.
② Feud → You are being married to put an end to the bitter enmity between your two families.
③ Economics → Your economic state and/or your station will improve through the union, though one of you may be marrying down.
④ Empire → You and your spouse are merging your businesses and/or property to create something more influential or profitable.
⑤ Tribute → You have been offered as a gift or appeasement, alternately you're the spoils of war.
⑥ Bloodline → Carrying on your distinguished family name has fallen to you and the equally well-bred spouse of your family's selection.
⑦ Disapproval → Your marriage has been arranged to keep you away from the person with whom you truly wish to be.

POSSIBLE SCENARIOS:
① First meeting → This is the very first time you're meeting your future spouse.

[Ending up in an arrange marriage had always been a possibility and Jeile had been fully aware of that. That fact did not make it less chocking learning that a match had been made for him. With a man from the other realm. He knew that for the longest of time there had been talk about establishing a proper contact between the two worlds. This was it. This union would join their worlds together.

And to be polite and not wait until the wedding day itself to meet his intended, Jeile decided that a visit was in order. The reasoning he used was to avoid a far too big culture crash. There were bound to be differences between the two realms after all and he would like to avoid making a fool of himself when there would be eyes on him.

Jeile had of course told about him visiting beforehand so France would be able to clear up his schedule for him or arrange for someone to meet him. Using the portal that had already been set up, he stepped through it, ending up in a world that he up until now had not been allowed to visit. It was exciting.]

[And a very important joining, after all. France was hardly a stranger to the idea of marriages arranged for political gain and stability. Though this was decidedly different. This man from another world, there was no denying that he was painfully curious about him.

So France was only too thrilled when his betrothed decides to make a preemptive visit. It would only do to meet the man, introduce him to all the loveliest things that this world has to offer. There was no way that he planned on leaving the greeting of his fiance to anyone else, so France would be the one waiting when Jeile made his way through the portal.

The Frenchman was dressed smartly, ever mindful of fashion, not quite formal but not that far off at all, hair tied back at the back of his neck (though some had already escaped) a curious smile already on his face when the other appeared. His smile only brightened.]

[There were bound to be differences between the both worlds and that got shown right away in something so simple as clothing. Jeile very much looked like he had stepped right out from another century, dressed in lace and brocade as he were. France dressed a lot simpler, but still elegant, the clothes suiting him perfectly. What they had in common being their choice in hairdo.
