Marcus glanced over at the man he was helping to heal. It had been a long process though, since he was rubbish at healing and he knew next to nothing about Muggle bullet wounds. But he had done the best he had could and let the other stay in Flint manor while he recovered.

[All in all, this little mission should have been simple. It amounts to field practice, really, for Pyrrha and her team, right on the outskirts of Beacon, past the agriculture district. There aren't many Grimm - terrifying shadow creatures who feed off fear - in that area of the forest, but there are enough that the students from the academy can patrol and practice. So that's where Pyrrha is, almost to the edge of the patrol bounds, practicing the fan rotation with her team. She's at the west-most point of the fan, scanning the forest and jumping back and forth across the riverbank.
Of course, just as she's set to take over the northern point of the formation, turn around, and head back, all hell breaks loose.
There's a giant, falling, flaming piece of something careening downwards in the sky to the West, and Pyrrha takes off after it with barely a thought, already drawing Miló and Akoúō, her sword and shield. She assumes it must be a transport vehicle, perhaps one of Atlas' military vessels, but it will no doubt draw Grimm to the survivors of the crash. It's times like these Pyrrha wishes she had greater control over her aura - maybe one day she's be strong enough to stop, or at least slow the metal of the crashing hovercraft, but today was not that day.
Pyrrha stops short, however, when the aircraft seems to explode in the sky above her, and she skids in the dirt, watching as the metal pieces begin to rain down across the forest. What in the world - ?
There! Pyrrha takes off again when she sees the smaller piece that's broken off from the hunk of metal, what seems to be an emergency pod, or perhaps just the cockpit, broken off in the crash. If it was a military vehicle, the only likely survivors would be there.]
15 kilometers west, target, crashing military vehicle. [Pyrrha reported quietly over her comms. Her team was yelling at her, to turn back, not to cross over the patrol boundary line, and she turned off the scroll, ignoring it. How could she turn back, when someone could need her help?
She arrives at the edge of a patch of forest that's been knocked own by the debris and slows, treading carefully. The door to the cockpit - and it is a cockpit, upon closer examination - seems to be welded shut from the heat, and Pyrrha takes a deep breath, centering herself before attempting to rip it off with her semblance. The door gives a little, and Pyrrha pushes further, ripping it off it's hinges with a burst of energy. Smoke billows out from inside, and she stows her weapons, covering her mouth with one hand and wading into the inky cloud.]

So he had done the right thing and saved her. He knew she had been Lupin's, but Lupin was gone. They had not been able to save him in time.
