THE THEMES

TWO ➔ YANDERE STYLE: I think we all know how this goes. You're sweet on your crush when they're focused on you, making them lunch with rice balls with smiles... aw... wait, are they looking at another cute person?! THEY'RE ONLY ALLOWED TO LOOK AT ME.

THREE ➔ LOVE NOTES: Send your crush personalized little love notes for them to find! Flick them at your crush, or hide them in their shoes! Draw pictures of you two kissing! Heck, even an old fashioned YES/NO checkbox note will do. But you've gotta get their attention with your written prowess! Get creative! Maybe they'll come up to you and you'll find true love!

FOUR ➔ SEVEN MINUTES IN HEAVEN: You're locked in a closet with someone else! It can be a crush, a friend, a boyfriend, whatever! SIX ➔ IT'S A DARE: You've been dared by someone to romance this specific person! You're not allowed to tell that it's a dare, and you must seem earnest. Will you be able to make them swoon from your charms? Or will you fall into love's trap, and fall head over heels for real?

SEVEN ➔ LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT: You've been completely dazzled by this specific person! Your heart races, you have a cold sweat... why is this?! You simply must get to know them! Maybe it was meant to be!

EIGHT ➔ TSUNDERE STYLE: Sure, you like them, but you can't show that by being cute or cooking them lunch! No, you have to punch their shoulder and tug on their hair, of course! W-what? They're complimenting you? Try not to blush too hard, or shove them too much.

FOURTEEN ➔ IN PUBLIC?!: There's something about messing around in a public place, where anyone can walk in on you anytime. Try to keep quiet, the woman over in the bathroom stall next to you might hear you and your partner heating up and fooling around.

FIFTEEN ➔ HANDS: Hey, woah! Your hands just happen to keep drifting to "inappropriate places"! You might not realize it, or it might be fully intentional! Whatever it is, it's happening! Maybe your partner will simply brush you off, or maybe they'll suggest you two scadattle off to a room!

She shifted slightly, trying to find some way to stand that wasn't pressed right up against him, and hoped very dearly that it was dark enough to hide how red her cheeks were.]

...He really needed to stop letting his eyes linger on mortals (or who he assumed were mortals.) He'd seen glimpses of him fighting from the cover of where he'd stayed the night, and instantly succumbed to smitten feelings.

After losing his Guardian in the massacre, it didn't help that he bore a void in his life. As a Knight, it was his job to protect his Guardian.

...Could he really seek to replace her with a mortal?

Once the monsters were dispatched, Elazul came out from where he was hiding, doing his best to hide how his normal hand shook. His right arm, crystallized from shoulder to fingertips, and his core (which rested in the center of his chest) remained completely exposed.

After the massacre, Jumi like him had taken to hiding their natures from humans, but, brashly, Elazul chose not to do so this time.

"You handled yourself pretty well there, I gotta admit."

He just needed to keep his core's vibrations from beating in his throat, so to speak.

[ The kissing booth was a fundraiser for Matt's theater class, and it was finally his turn to bat. The guy who had been in the booth right before him had been the classically handsome type, and he hadn't been wanting for young ladies to kiss. Matt wasn't... well, classically handsome, but he had confidence, and just enough good-natured humor to entice an unexpecting girl or two. At the moment, he had his eyes on a pretty blond he'd seen somewhere before. Had she been in the audience of the last play he'd been in? Whatever the case, Matt was doing his best to send her big smiles, and flash 'come hither' looks at her with his eyes. It was a bit over the top, of course, but Matt always had been a goofball. ]
