scenarios;

① fuck the police, this is the best time for a walk. hope you've got a nice thick coat on.
② stranded in the buttcrack of nowheresville? weren't you watching the time? now you've gone and missed that last bus out of there. or maybe you're lost, somehow. what do?
③ literally chilling, in this weather, is quite easy to do. sitting around relaxing in it is a wee more difficult, but sometimes much more enjoyable, especially if shelter can be found. the snow is beautiful to watch, after all.
④ the weather's not going to stop you. your snow fort's packed full of ammo and ready to go. those aren't snow angels over there; they mark where the poor souls you've downed have fallen. be careful with that snowman's head!!
⑤ you're about fifty miles from civilization but there's a roof over your head, so never mind the chilly draught, right? right. you mightn't be the only one lucky enough to stumble upon this little shelter, though. remember to share the blanket.
⑥ everyone stuck outside should be jelly. you've got a fireplace and hot cocoa and damn if it isn't awesome. a heater's not quite so romantic, but it'd do. there'd better be a backup generator in case the power trips.
⑦ mix and match, or make up your own.

[ They're in Finland, not far from the Soviet border — specifically, the Lapland region. The snow falls thickly in the north and the pine trees dusted with them give off an incredibly festive sort of spirit. But they aren't here for skiing and leisure; at least, not beyond what their cover stories may entail. They're here because their target is on holiday and conducting some shady business on the side in saunas and private dinners. Right now, they're building on the intel that's been given to them by UNCLE, fleshing out the file a little more so they can make a more informed next step.

Today, that falls to Solo, which leaves Illya and Gaby to roam the grounds as they please. ("Scout" the area, as it were.) It is truly lovely. Gaby doesn't have much fondness for the cold, with her childhood in the Eastern Bloc. But with the promise of roaring fires and warm food back at the ski lodge, this is actually quite nice. She's off around the treeline, seeing if she can duck out of Illya's sight long enough to make a snowball and lob it at him.

Which she does, of course, at the next available opportunity.

Whether or not it connects with her intended target remains to be seen, but she's definitely grinning from under her hat a few feet away, the picture of innocence. ]

[ It's not like there's anywhere for Jon to go, so Clark lets him have the bed. He moves his stuff out to the couch, it's only a laptop and phone. He doesn't need to sleep, but he tries to leave the recipe books around and pay attention if Jon is taking interest in them. He wants to start somewhere, and he already keeps a fully stocked kitchen. Mom always said there was nothing better than a warm meal to move things along.

Mom has to know, and he'll get there. He doesn't want to just text her and announce she's got a grandson.

He's out often for Superman's work, and it feels really strange to know there's someone in the apartment when he comes back. But Jon can't stay here forever, and honestly, Clark wouldn't want to keep him cooped up.

Perry's skeptical when he asks for a weekend with no phone calls, but luckily it's only a weekend. Someone else can claim any bylines that crop up in the meantime.

Clark packs some winter gear and supplies. He tells Jon they're flying to Greenland. It's not too far, it's remote, and they can always pass for a pair of tourists looking to rent a fishing boat if they feel like it.

They've been walking around, Clark a little ahead of him. He stops to listen. ]

Doesn't look like there'll be a blizzard.

W-What.. What is this? [There is a very confused teenager standing outside in the falling snow, blood red eyes widening as she takes in the scenery around her. She acts like she's never seen this type of weather before- And it's true, she hasn't. Morgiana was born in a much more warmer climate, primarily the desert. This was not something she was accustomed to. Right now she looks like a kid who was given a large piece of cookie- touching at the snow with wonder, feeling the sharp sting of the freeze beneath her fingertips] Ah.. it's cold..

[She absentmindedly wipes the snow piling up on her head off, fingers tugging the warm sweater closer to her body. In the sea of white blanketing the ground around her, she was a starch contrast with her bright red hair and eyes. Morgiana looks lost though as she awkwardly tries to move through the snow.]

Uhm.. I don't know where I am.. [WELP, What a conundrum. It's irritating to have to deal with, especially when she can't read signs or read at all.]
