Many a time Nickov asked himself what had he gotten himself into. But it'd been worth it. He'd helped Wash get away from that life and off the planet entirely...and still he cared for his company. So, he'd decided to have him come along to his next job, and maybe secure a little work for him as well? The kind that didn't involve him spreading his legs.

One uncomfortable cargo ship ride later and they were at the planet...and then the farm. And...his client had apparently died of food poisoning.

The farm and house were marked to be flattened if it went unclaimed...and as the currency on this world was worth a fraction of what it typically went for...

Yes, he did just buy an entire house and farm for pretty much fifty bucks.

Only chickens remained of the livestock, the others either stolen or having broke out and run off. No matter, there was an extensive garden. Could use a little work all around but...this was his dream, a place to call his own...There was plenty of space, he could rent the rooms out if need be, maybe even find others like Wash who needed help. Get them back on their feet and all.

It was perfect...

Doubly so because...he cared a lot for Wash...he wondered if the man did so too?...Could they...? He hesitated to ask...He'd bought his time for sex and freed him, but that didn't give him any right to...

Well, this is awkward.

[Nao chuckles as he sheepishly rubs the back of his neck. The reason behind this strange little agreement all begins with his clan's need for an heir. The Haineko Clan need a proper heir and Nao's been pussyfooting around the issue far too long. So they've all but forced him into making this awkward arrangement with one of his good colleagues. If Nao won't take a wife, he might as well have the child himself.]

There's still time to back out, Nickov. [He mutters as he tries his best not to seem too nervous.] I do realize this is...quite an unusual request.

[He invited the blue-skinned alien over to his family's estate as an honored guest. It's just the two of them here within the humble comforts of the guest house with a perfect view of the outdoor garden. Nao looks quite formal in a black and white furisode kimono with elegant decorative cranes woven into the luxurious fabric. It's probably the most expensive item he owns other than the jade bracelet upon his left and the jade necklace tucked away.

There's some snacks served and of course a pot of tea to be shared. Nao was intuitive enough to request sake as well. He may need some liquid courage to embark upon this but thankfully, he doesn't find Nickov to be disappointing at all. The blue-skinned alien is easy on the eyes and rather easygoing. However, he's nervous and the sake is a welcome sight.]
