it started out quietly, and then, quite suddenly, you're caught in a storm. Time to find cover. Nothing much to do but to wait it out.

i WHERE:
001 PLAYGROUND - Well, you can try to hide under the slide or maybe in the jungle gym... at least you're some place fun?
002 PARK - Always happens, caught outside trying to take advantage of the weather... and it ends up pulling a fast one on you.
003 STORE FRONT - Better hope they have an awning you can take advantage of
004 THE BEACH - Not exactly the best place to be during a rainstorm, however it is possible to get caught in a sudden storm
005 WILD CARD - Anyway you want it


ii HOW:
001 TREE - Not the best cover, but it'll have to do, stay close to the roots and you won't get too wet.
002 UMBRELLA - Most conventional... Kinda boring. But it works.
003 NEWSPAPER - Not permanent, but it'll have to do. Good luck
004 BAG - Well... y'gotta do what you gotta do.
005 NONE - You know what. You're a rebel. You don't need cover. Screw convention

[ It's not bad, requesting the use of an umbrella with someone else as they wait for the bus. The sky is dark, both paths up and down the street looks like something out of a complete scary movie, the rain had been the only sound until this mysterious girl appeared. A smile on her face as she stands right next to Nazuna, but not under his umbrella as the rain pours down getting both her hair and body wet. ]

You can tell me no, I don't mind waiting right here either. The rain ... is cool today. [ That means, that the tears shed are of good intentions and that nothing wrong should happen. ] Do you like the rain?

And of course he had been caught in the rain while trying to make his way back home from the shuttle dropping him off base. His months leave had just started and here he was, his luggage sent ahead of him and his communication device low enough that trying to sort out new transportation was pushing the battery limit. He could walk to the nearest establishment but at the moment, standing under the overhang at the shuttle stop was kind of where he wanted to be. He hasn't felt rain in a long time, but he lived enough time on earth to remember that being soaked through and not knowing when you could change into dry clothes wasn't something he wanted to revisit.

So he sat, arms folded around himself in the gentle but cold breeze. It had a bite but still wasn't as cold as the station. Glancing up at the darkened evening sky, he figured if he waited a little maybe it would clear up or someone would walk by and give him directions.

[Laguna didn't think it actually rained in any of these places, but here he was, stuck in the rain. He was crouched under a tree for some cover, his jacket hanging off his head with the collar pulled over to at least attempt to keep his face dry.

Didn't totally work. But honestly, it was better than nothing. His leg was going to cramp up soon though, and it had nothing to do with a woman this time. He sighed, crossing his arms between his stomach and thighs, his face pressed against his knees. Eh, he'll cross that bridge when he got there. For now, he just wanted to wait the rain out. Which, he figured, was a sort of blessing in disguise. He didn't really want the others to find him right now, not when he was dealing with a newly resurfaced memory that he wasn't exactly leaping for joy about.

His thumb played with a silver ring hidden by his glove.

And, maybe, the wetness on his face wasn't entirely rain water.]
