Grooming is an important part of many species' rituals. It keeps them clean, healthy, and content. And a good bath? It can change the whole tone of a day from terrible to relaxed and blissful. But nudity is sometimes viewed as a weakness - and it is almost always sexualized - so bathing is often kept a private matter. If you do share these moments with someone, they're almost always a significant other or a sexual partner. Like you're doing now. Whether it be after a battle or after sex (or before sex, even), the two of you are going to get clean. Be sure to help each other out with that, won't you? After all, there are places on the back that just can't be reached... If you asked Derek how he managed to fit an enormous werewolf in his car, he'll tell you it was a damn miracle because even he doesn't really know how he did it. He usually listens to the lycan howls during a full moon from the comfort of his own apartment's rooftop but tonight, instead of letting Gabriel walk home like usual, he decided why not pick him up and try and give him a bath before he went back to his place.

It was the best and worst idea he's ever had, he'll admit.

For one thing, he forgot just how big Gabriel's wolf form was. Wait, isn't this the first time? He honestly doesn't remember, seeing Gabe as a wolf was a rare occurrence for him. But that's beside the point, when he sat on the roof of his car at the edge of the small forest outside of the city, he nearly broke his window with his foot at seeing the enormous pure black wolf making his way back towards the city.

Derek called out to the wolf with a wave, "Gabriel !", he waited till he got his attention before jumping off his car. His bathtub is so not going to be big enough for this... maybe he could find that kiddie pool he keeps around. That could probably work. Now for the more pressing matter, how does he actually fit him in his car? Should he roll down his windows? Do Lycans even like sticking their head out windows or is that just a dog thing?

[ There were many things for which humanity deserved his hate, a laundry list of things so long that it left him exhausted to even recite. Bathing wasn't one of them.

Nea leans back into the bathtub with a small sigh, a smile twisting at his lips. Closer to a smirk with how it goes crooked at the edges, but there's little malice to the gesture, this time around. Hard to be menacing when your modesty was protected only by a layer water and bubbles, but embarrassment was a human trait that Nea didn't feel any particular want to emulate. There was no need for it either, especially not when the only other person in his vicinity was a puppy dog with some useful abilities on loan from an even higher-ranking crony of the Vatican. It was enough to make him laugh. ]

[ Canting his head backwards and slightly to the side brings his, hah, companion into view, tucked away in whatever corner of the bathroom that he found most comfortable. Not that Nea held any particular discomforts about Link's absence from his sight, but if he were to have an audience anyway, then better that it be an audience that he could bait. Pulling expressions out of the man was something of a sport, really. Nea didn't dislike that as much as he should, either. ]
