[ It's not very often that Taemin is careless enough to actually let Izumi stay over the entire night, but mostly, it has less to do with how he feels about it and more to do with his shitty brother's attitude. There's something there that he doesn't feel like explaining to the other boy either, which is why he tries to limit whatever they do in his house to something quick and harmless. Easy. But sometimes, nothing is perfect, and he slowly wakes up to the warm weight of a body pressed against his in the small space of his bed, his cheek resting against the edge of a pillow. He's turned toward Izumi, but he can't quite see his face, feeling a flush creeping under his skin even as he slowly reaches up to brush away some of his hair. Maybe it would be easier to admit that he kind of likes Izumi in a way he probably shouldn't considering how much they rub each other the wrong way sometimes, but...

No. He could never do that.

His fingers skim the curve of his jaw, grazing his ear, and there's a hard blush when he feels Izumi wake up, quickly dragging his hand away and slowly -- oh so slowly -- turning away from him so it looks as if he'd naturally shifted at the same moment. Taemin's heart is pounding in his chest though, annoyed that he might have gotten caught, and the very fact of the matter is that he isn't even thinking about the rest, about both of them being mostly undressed after having been so intimate. It'll come back to him later, but for now, he's really trying to focus on not paying attention to how stupid he feels for getting so carried away. ]

It wasn't the first time Jesse woke up to the filtered light of morning light coming through the canvas of their tent. The camp had been hopping the night before with the good news of finally having a working well of clean water and a breakthrough in the disease that had been plaguing the locals.

Jesse and Angela had their own celebration after all of the dancing and drinking, even if it had been in their own little tent on their bedrolls. It was cool and despite their blankets, Jesse cuddled a little closer to the woman in his arms. He pressed a kiss to her shoulder, brushing some of her hair from her face and letting her sleep on. It had been months of work and she'd persevered once again in finding a solution to a very complex problem. She deserved a little rest after so many early mornings and late nights.
