As far as the roll of the dice of fate can fall, you could have scored worse: you're a witch (or wizard, magician, mage, what have you), and power flows through your veins. Still, before you can use this ability or don your black hat, you must pay the carnal price of this world, no matter your personal feelings on the matter. Fortunately, sex is plentiful for those who need to craft their spellwork. You might as well enjoy what you do.

[ It was a relief to be back inside where it was safe. Relatively safe. It's only a motel room, but the magical seals keep it more or less locked down. Hiling slowly lets out a breath as she settles onto the bed. Underestimating her opponent was a bad habit of hers and this time was no different. It was a good thing he was there to defend her. nce he decided to show up. This is going to be harder than she thought. Danger aside, it was exciting to see his power in action. It was enough to make her wonder what he's really capable of. ]

[Once he's bored with collecting a few souls, the beast follows her, leaping from shadow to shadow in a liquid form. Spikes, lashing tentacles, and all sorts of beasts erupt from the path he makes, until he’s sure he’s thrown off their pursuers. This is quite the fun little game he’s been tugged into. Though, Valerius wasn’t expecting a fight right away, he didn’t deny his opponent a bit of a workout. It was a fascinating little dance, but after being freshly summoned, he wasn’t dare going to see the end when he wasn’t at his best.

[Technically. He should be calling Hiling Master She called him forth into this amusing world, and she supplied him with the power he needed to eradicate his enemies. But Valerius was vanity incarnate, and never was one to play by the rules unless it suited him.
