 -- You've never been out on a date before, so someone's decided to give you a helping hand.

 -- You're recovering from a painful breakup, but your friends/family think they found a great person for you anyway.

 -- Someone thought you didn't know your date. Turns out you know them from somewhere.
4. 

Hideously awkward

 -- Hey wait, that's your ex/boss/doctor/distant family member! Or, even worse, it's that person you absolutely despise. This will go well!

Existing partner

 -- You two are just acting like strangers to spice up your love life.
6. 

Future spouse

 -- Unfortunately, you have to have an arranged marriage. Fortunately, you get to meet that special someone for a date beforehand. How will the night go?
7. ...or, instead of rolling, come up with your own scenario!

4. Play out the date. This meme can be completely fluffy, smutty, or hilarious. If you don't want smut, you can put that in your subject. It doesn't even have to be romantic.

It's been centuries. He knows it's been centuries. It wasn't like he got to take extended time off and just slept through a few of them. No no, he'd lived every one of those days, and he knew.

He also knew that there was no arguing with his wife any more now than when she'd been alive. Which was why he was here, in what he had made sure was the appropriate attire for this particular time and world, waiting for a woman that one of his current co-workers had told him he would 'definitely hit it off with, no question'.

Which... sure, though he had plenty of questions. Mostly having to do with anything else beyond her name ('Carol' sounded nice enough) and that she was blonde. So he was just going to try not to make a fuss in this rather nice establishment, the sort of place that he still felt weird about despite a rather long span as a king and his current position as... whatever the hell he was at this point... living deus ex machina? How was he going to sell this? He usually just called himself a repairman, but what if she actually knew about electronics?

He ignored the Voice reminding him not to pout and to sit up straight, then decided that at least he'd best do the second one so he didn't look like a lout when she actually walked over.

[Midoriya wasn't sure why his friends set up this blind date. They'd been so insistent that he couldn't say no. Tenya thought it was a great idea and Ochaco just smiled at him and told him to go and have fun. He stopped at the entrance of the restaurant and resisted the urge to touch his combed down hair. His mom had spent an hour taming it with hair gel and a comb. He swallowed and walked inside.

He told the hostess his name and she just smiled. She led him into the restaurant and toward a table for him and his blind date. Apparently the blind date hadn't arrived yet. He was seated with his back to the door. She grabbed him a glass of water and walked away. Who could be his blind date? Was it Tsu-chan? No, probably not. They were friends but there was no way. It wouldn't be someone like Shoto...and the idea of it being Baachan made Midoriya's heart go cold.

No. Who else could it be? He was racking his brain, running through the list of all of his classmates and those he knew in other classes. Who? Who could his friends have set him up with?]
