[ Even after all the time they've spent together, Taemin feels like he shouldn't be here. Maybe it's the way some of Siwoon's other guards look at him, as if he doesn't have any right to be protecting a person so much taller and broader at the shoulder than him, or maybe it's the fact he feels like he's slipping a little in his duties. Just last week, there had been an altercation at one of the regular so-called "meetings" Siwoon often frequented to make appearances and speak with potential partners or buyers -- realistically, Taemin has no idea what they discuss, and he prefers not to know -- in which Siwoon had been grazed by a stray bullet saving him. It's annoying, and he's been mad about it ever since, purposely ghosting him so he could refocus his attention on doing his job rather than getting distracted by a pretty face. Knowing Siwoon, it probably pisses him off, but he has people other than him to safeguard his interests.
And when he finally decides to check-in, he's confident the entire floor of the hotel is locked down so tight that nothing would get through to disturb them. All the finery of the suite makes him feel out of place, but Taemin ignores it as he wanders into the sitting area and glances around. Naturally, his eyes stray to Siwoon, his posture and his general silhouette before he forces himself to stare at his feet. He already feels guilty enough about the injury; he certainly doesn't need anything else to add to it. His expression shifts just slightly, and he frowns. ]
Everything's secure. No one's going to bother you tonight. [ He doesn't address him by his full name, doesn't call him sir. Taemin hardly cares for formalities, but the truth is, he wants to ask how his arm is, if he's okay. Rather than push the subject, he just keeps his head down and waits to be dismissed. ]
