SECRET relationship;

The fact that you're in a relationship with this person isn't public knowledge. Actually, no one knows about it except for the people involved. Maybe you guys are just private like that; on the other hand, it may be a necessity to keep things a secret from others. Maybe you're both team mates, and others on the team would give you grief, or you're not suppose to be dating, or you're not the type to usually date and you're only testing the waters. Perhaps it's the combination of you two, possibly an odd couple, that would bring some controversy or some teasing. Or, you know, you could not want to deal with friends and relatives being busybodies. Your reasons are your own.

Are you content with stealing moments to be together as a couple? Do you want to make your relationship known and the fact that you can't drives you batty? Remember, there are lots of benefits to dating in secret. You can be yourselves completely, away from prying eyes, and get to know each other better as potential longterm romantic partners. In a way, it's ideal.

[If you had told Ky a year ago that he would fall in love and enter a relationship with the Mata Hari, he would have thought you insane. Now? Not so much.

Ky is aware of her history, of how her life was ruined by men and how she brought ruin to other men. Even so, he could not resist falling for one Mata Hari once he had the chance to meet her after she had become a Heroic Spirit. And yet somehow, beyond Ky's expectations, she reciprocated his feelings. This wasn't deliberate seduction on either party's actions, but rather an earnest affection. Unfortunately, they had to keep it a secret -- Ky is still in the public eye every now and then, which would make the whole Heroic Spirit thing tricky.

At any rate, right this very moment Ky is returning home after a long day of work. He knows she's waiting for him within the house, so he can't help but smile as he opens the door and steps into the foyer.]

Ah...finally. It feels good to be home. Where are you, my love?

In the kitchen~ Just getting dinner ready!

[And Mata Hari, for her part, was maybe still not 100% sure this all wasn't a dream. To've appeared in this strange era in which magic was commonplace, seemingly without any Grail War actually taking place--there were wars involving magic, sure, but she'd yet to encounter any other Heroic Spirits--and then to've met a man like Ky...it all seemed impossible, fantastical even for someone like her.

But every day made her a little more certain it was real. And sure, it was unfortunate they couldn't be so open about what they shared, but that was an easy sacrifice for Mata Hari to make. Keeping things on the down-low was old hat for her. What mattered was that they had it, and that it was just, well, so much nicer than most of the relationships she remembered from her mortal life--so much warmer, so much more real.

She hummed happily to herself as she waited for him to join her in the kitchen, where she was chopping vegetables. God, she felt so domestic--so ordinary. It was the best.]

[Ky makes a turn from the foyer and makes a brief stop in his home office, placing his briefcase there. He has some documents to review before bed tonight, but he'll look at them later. Much more important was going into the kitchen and greeting his girlfriend.

He makes a direct path for the kitchen from there, and when he sees Mata Hari, he walks up to her and carefully places a kiss on her cheek.]

[He peered over to the counter, and at the chopping board where the vegetables she's cutting up sit.]
