My kingdom for a William Shakespeare or other characters from the series called 'Will'.

Looking for the following for high fantasy, bickering, dislike-turns-to-affection, possibly arranged marriage, semi-Beauty and the Beast romance/mutual attraction bonanzas:

Sandor or Tyrion from Game of Thrones. (And, if I'm being honest, Margaery and Jon Snow, too, the former due to rose motifs and the latter just seems like it'd work.)
Kili, Fili, Thorin, et al. from The Hobbit. I've gotta collect every dwarf, apparently, because I love AUing Belle into Tolkienverse that much. Not on theme, but Bard would be fun, too. No one has identical twins across the multiverse like Gaston. OH, or Tauriel. ADVENTURE GIRLFRIENDS. From Lord of the Rings, I'd love a Frodo for Belle to be cute and geeky with.
Summoning all the magic of Harry Potter, I'm asking for a Newt Scamander or a Remus Lupin for some shy, nerdy slow burn love.

In a similar vein:

Quasimodo from any Hunchback of Notre Dame. ADORABLE. Need I say more?
Beast or Nightcrawler from Marvel. Really, any of the more inhuman Marvel characters, or those who are more inwardly "monsters" like Bucky. Or the Hulk/Bruce Banner, even. Always up for Bruce Banner. Scarlet Witch could also be an interesting F/F option, given she and Belle would share a certain degree of ostracization.

And now for something completely different:

Anyone from historical musicals. Les Mis comes to mind first thanks to the French connection, yet Hamilton or Phantom might also be right up my alley for this.
Since nerds can be powerful when they put their minds in the right places, and there's even more strength in numbers, I'd like to play Belle against a Sam Winchester from Supernatural. They'd be ideal as a pair of bookish hunters who are more than partners.

I'm willing to AU Belle into any and all of these canons. Additionally, I'm smut and kink friendly; however, neither are required.

Save the children

I have several young characters that I want to play with someone older, someone who would take them from bad situations. These characters include Ritsuka (Loveless), and Kyohei (The Wallflower -- yes, he's only 15), Hisoka (Yami no Matusei -- AU for these purposes).

Or just general mentor

I also have other young characters whose situations are better, but I love the older/younger dynamic. Muselist will be included at the end.

Extreme hurt/comfort

I tend to like many threads toward the darker side, and this includes my H/C. I prefer to play the comforted end, but I would like a thread where something very dark has happened, and now they begin the road to recovery together. The event itself doesn't need to be played.

one of my favorite gen threads to play is a mentoring role, because henry is the Best Dad. i enjoy dark h/c threads too! of course henry is probably not the best role model but they do their best and like making people happy.

This sounds wonderful c: Both Ritsuka and Hisoka deal with some sensitive topics. Are there are topics you'd rather avoid with them?

There is also Kyohei, but he's like hard mode as he looks much older and is basically a delinquent.

Indeed; it's nice to know someone else has heard of it. Kyohei looks so adult that it's easy to forget he's only 15. The manga focuses on a few of the stories involving his parents that have always broken my heart. When the manga goes from silly to serious, it's always the Kyohei stories that make me sad.

i can get that from the art style, yeah, although their attitudes definitely are teenagers' haha. i think it's funny how sunako is always in the chibi style when the others Aren't.

Yes, it is very understandable. All of them look older than they are, it's hard to believe their actual age.

To sum it up, Kyohei's attention is (obviously) ridiculous. While this is often played for laughs, it has gotten him into real trouble. Even in middle school, he was grabbed and kissed often, to the point of needing police escorts. There were constant kidnapping attempts as a child (and still, actually) as well as an inability to hold a job due to sexual harassment. The attention broke his mother, who kicked him out of the house. When he visits, she's apologetic, but as soon as the calls begin, she reverts back to the anger and verbally abuses him (largely by wishing he was never born), etc. Adults don't take this situation very seriously.

Alternatively, if you'd prefer someone easier to work with as Kyohei will be hardest:

Ritsuka (12) suffers extreme verbal, emotional, and physical abuse from his mother. His brother was heading toward incest as well, working to isolate Ritsuka from everyone else, make him dependent on him by encouraging his mother's abusive behavior, while getting too close to Ritsuka himself. Obviously, this child needs to be somewhere else.

Hisoka was gifted with empathy, which scared his parents. They often locked him away in a cell, considering him a monster. When he was 13, he was attacked and violated by someone. He dies at 16 in canon, but we can play him as younger and change that ending.

As you can see, all three deal with very heavy subject matters (Ritsuka suffers from amnesia and can easily be taken from before he remembers Seimei's strange affections. I realize all three share that topic, and that's a way to avoid if it makes you uncomfortable) and are failed by adults. I'd love a chance to play a thread that changes that. Do you have a preference?

hmm, it's hard to decide. i think with ritsuka it'd be a more direct rescue mission, and i think kyohei would only need some guidance and respect+protection that he doesnt get elsewhere. i think hisoka would also be interesting because henry's sense of empathy is... if not low, then weird. so i guess it depends on if you want an actiony scene or what.

oh also in henry's canon there's an Outerealm Gate that dimension hops so I've got an easy crosscanon!

This is difficult to decide because I'm so excited to be getting this scene. After much internal debate, I've decided to rule out Kyohei. I do have a couple of threads with Ritsuka, but none with Hisoka so if you're fine with the sensitive subject matters, I'll go with Hisoka. It will be a slight AU in which Muraki didn't pull a curse on him.

Warning with Hisoka: his family is powerful and prestigious so helping him, especially while he's locked in a cell, could be more difficult. If that isn't a problem, I can play him at 14 so he's not too old to completely reject all adults.

What canon is this, by the way? I'll look it up to help me formulate the thread.

henry has some interesting abilities to make up for that, so im sure we can figure something out!

Yami no Matsuei. It takes a bit of time to learn his complete backstory but basically, Hisoka is the only child of a prestigious family. He began to say strange things, acknowledging feelings he shouldn't know, which scared people. Soon, he was seen as a demon and often locked away when the knowledge slipped, but in truth, he was gifted with empathy, which activates when he touches people.

When he was 13, he was walking through the gardens and ran upon the main antagonist. Since killing him would be too kind, of course, he rapes him. Since Hisoka has never been lucky, the man then puts a curse on his body and erases the memory of their encounter. Hisoka spends the next three years in constant, horrible pain and finally dies at 16. Since dying Hisoka will be too sad, I think it best we assume the antagonist was a normal man who can't magically curse people.

Ouch. poor guy. henry's actually pretty good at countercurses if you wanna play that out as a reason hisoka trusts him at an older age.

I have no smiling icons, but that would be wonderful. However, breaking the curse will unleash the memories, which means Henry will be there when Hisoka remembers the night. That would be intense.

I'm open to all sorts of cross canon fun, definitely other OCs as well, mostly I'd just love to find someone to explore Myrtha's powers opposite, so a character who has experienced or does experience sadness and despair a lot whom she'd then try to comfort and help... This kind of scenario would be the best, thank you forever.

EYYYYY! So I have my OC Bethany here, who is all kinds of sadness and despair. She was cursed by a witch and is basically stuck outside time. A side effect of the curse is that negative emotions are amplified without her realizing it, which would work well for the scenario you've got here.

People can't see/hear/touch Beth, but that's something that can be tweaked so Myrtha can see and interact with her.

Oh, that sounds perfect! What a traumatic backstory Beth carries with her, Myrtha would really come to work. Being a patron, a sort of saint or angel, maybe it would still be possible for Myrtha to see Beth despite the curse? It could be something else for them to bond over, if you want.

Ooooh yeah, since she's a saint/angel, her seeing through the curse would definitely work, and it would be a good bonding point, too.

How would you prefer us to play it out? I've only really done memes with her until now, but if it would suit you better, I could make an open post in her journal? Otherwise, you're more than welcome to point me to memes that suit them and I'll be there in a flash!

Hey! I am super slow and sporadic, but I really like your OC concept. I don't know which/if any of my characters you'd be interested in, honestly, I am almost incapable of picking up a character without a tragic backstory.

A couple of notes: I'm canon blind to Tolkien (I've only seen the movies), but reading up on Galadriel's backstory, I think she could possibly be an interesting match, the same absolutely goes for your OC, Eleanor, although I'm also rather unused to writing in period settings, I'd be more than willing to give it a try, seeing as Myrtha has been around for centuries. Likewise, I'm canon blind to Lucifer, I'm only familiar with the theological mechanisms around his character and don't know how much the canon stays true to those, but if they're anything alike, I think he could also be an interesting match, definitely.

So really, just pick what suits you best! I'll be happy, regardless.

SPEAKING OF DISAPPEARING OFF THE FACE OF THE EARTH FOR A WHILE- sorry about that; start of the semester is a killer. If you find that you aren't comfortable writing in a period setting, I can actually swing excuses to stick most of mine in modern time periods (I'm nothing if not creative).

And, yeah, you've got the basic idea with Lucifer. It plays fast and loose with rules, of course, and uses them as building blocks more than anything else, but the basic concept is the same.

moon and friends visiting kanto! or her just visiting lillie there.

moon's time in ultra space having weird side-effects, like teleporting powers or being able to talk to pokémon or w/e.

moon being a faller being even more of a thing than anyonerealized--she's actually leaf from pokémon firered/leafgreen, and her being retconned out of existence ended up shifting her sideways into the wrong world without memories and was adopted. weird unreality and body horror with gen1 glitches would also be neat.

having to deal deal with a not-entirely-cured lusamine after catching all of the ultra beasts.

au where moon joined up with team skull--not because she failed her island challenge, but to protect lillie.

lunala and moon working on ultra wormholes (out of sheer curiosity or maybe helping out professor burnet) and accidentally ending up in the wrong universe, be it a different generation of pokémon or somewhere without them at all.

Related to that - I'd love to play out the probable conversation/confrontation that would've happened before Sephiroth left the mansion, since Cloud comes out of there in the game, just creeping up to the inevitable leaving.

*AUs... I'd love some AUs (I'm mostly interested in sci-fi/urban fantasy, etc or in-world historical settings (which would obviously also be more "fantasy" than FFVII is at present).

*Do some timeline shenanigans? Cloud ending up in AC/C timeline, (temporarily, mind!) replacing the older Cloud or being there simultaneously. Other similar sort of different-canonpoint shenanigans (jamjar situations, materia, lifestream? whatever)!

*Gen stuff with castmates :v

I'd love to have some Smallville characters to interact with, esp. Oliver Queen or Clark Kent. Some Junior Justice League shenanigans. :) I'd esp. like a Queen whom's up for some M/M shipping. I have also interacted with other DC characters before so that's okay too. I'd like some action, slice of life or romance. I'm pretty much up to anything but horror.

I'm open to AUs (such as Mark as a Pokémon Trainer), and both cross canon and cross-medium is fine. As for pairings I'm not overly fond of M/M pairings as for as shipping goes. Though I don't mind F/M or F/F. And in certain characters, I encourage it.

In Mark's/Moltenman's case: maybe someone who could help with his notorious gambling habits and his tenancy to sprout lava skin. (Being subjected to the Green Goblin's experiments sucked. Mark's canon is The Spectacular Spider-Man)

Zoey: I really want her to mostly female centric (Ash and Brock seem to be the only males she respects) either as a straight action story or somewhat shippy fic. I'd love to have a Dawn.

Chris: It would take massive amount of trust on whoever he was interacting with, since he has major issues regarding his family (or at least his dad). And has few friends in canon.

Madison: Is shy, book savvy, knowledgeable about Power Rangers Mystic Force's magic, and has a passing interesting in videos and video recording. Stating she'd like to be a film-maker. I'd like Madison to make friends of either gender with similar interests (though not necessarily similar temperaments).
