[It had taken him a long six months, but he'd finally put the finishing touches on his project last week and now, it was time for the big reveal.

Sure, he'd gotten plenty of help from his fellow mutants at the Institute and even some he wasn't expecting (Erik, to be precise), though when he had found the old run-down place, he was surprised to see it still standing. Maybe the guy that'd sold to him ripped him off? At first, Warren was disappointed, both in himself and the building, but after getting into a rhythm of coming to work on the mess every day, he found solace. It gave him something to do to fill his empty moments without Wanda, whom he noticed himself missing far more often than he liked.

Getting close to someone meant opening up to them and he sincerely wasn't sure if she was ready for that. He's a mess — he knows this — and yet he hopes each day as their time to meet at the newly renovated place creeps closer that she'll still want him.

He stares at the door in front of him, adjusting the jacket of his outfit. Okay, so it's not exactly formal-wear; it'll have to do, though. An actual suit would have driven him nuts, to the point that he might have called off the whole thing, if he hadn't already sent Wanda the text message, telling her to meet him at the location-- address enclosed, of course.

He inhales, holds the breath then releases it in a steady sigh, straightening his somewhat slouched posture and facing the door once more.
