Okay he's super sneaky, he can do this. Like a ninja! And he knows where all the squeaky floor boards are in the snug little cabin, or at least he knows where most of them are, still he has to creep along just incase, feeling a little like Indiana Jones in that cool doom temple.

Matt seems none the wiser, or at least he hasn't turned from where he's settled in front of the old stone fireplace, so Danny continues along like a predator, biting his lip and holding his breath as he slowly lifts the blanket he absconded from the bedroom.

C l o s e r, until he can (and it's a bad idea in retrospect) tackle the unfortunate blind man down and wrap him up like a burrito.

But come on, that blanket is like the softest thing! Like it was made out of kittens. (It isn't, thankfully--) "Raaaah" That's his monster impression, it's pretty great.

Danny's doing a great job, actually, and Matt is none the wiser. But not because of Danny's great sneaking skills. Actually, he's found Danny's iPod and he's slipped in the earbuds, flicking through the songs to hear what all is on it. He has no reason to suspect such a dastardly attack, so he doesn't even realize until it's too late.

Danny's monster sound is cut off by a fist to his face before Matt registers the situation. Wrapped up in a blanket and a (hopefully fine) Danny, with music sounding from the earbuds on the floor nearby.

"Oh my God -" Matt's laughing, but his concern is evident enough. "Are you all right? What's wrong with you?"

Okay so he gets hit in the face on an almost daily basis, so one more shiner isn't really going to make much of a difference, but he still goes down with a bitten off curse, flopping over to cover his eye dramatically.

"Ow, who just punches first?!" Matt does, he kinda knows this already, it's not like it's the first time he's gone out of his way to startle the guy-- it's always a little funny, at least when it doesn't end up like this. (it almost always ends up like this)

"I was brining you a blanket." The voice goes full sulk, as if he was the one wronged in this situation. Cruel, Matt!

Joking or not, it triggers Matt's guilt anyway. He rolls over to smother Danny's body with his own, nosing Danny's hand away so he can press wet kisses all around Danny's eye.

"The great living weapon, defeated once more by the man without fear." Now there's a real kiss, soft and light against the spot Matt hit. "Sorry. Thank you for the blanket."
