Strange Chocolates
Everyone deserves a special treat now and then! Whether it’s for a romantic anniversary, as a holiday gift, or just something you pick up for yourself after work, chocolates are a tasty way to celebrate, relax, or just help you get through the day. There are so many different kinds, too! There’s milk chocolate, white chocolate, dark chocolate, and many, many more. It’s a treat that almost everyone can enjoy!
That’s why today is a lucky day! There’s plenty of chocolate to go around. Your character might get some as a gift, buy some for themselves at a sale, or just find it lying around...that happens, right? And all of the chocolate is unique, too. Why not take a bite? What’s the worse that could happen?
Rules:
1. Post your character and list any preferences you have
2. Use a random number generator to see what kind of snack you're having!
3. ...Wait for someone to reply or just plot it out. Go nuts!
4. Play nice and have fun. Respect people’s preferences and all that.
1: Chocolate filled with bubblegum: The eater of this chocolate will feel a bit more flexible than usual...literally! They'll also be bendable, moldable, and...potentially inflatable. Elasticity's the game for this chocolate.
2: Chocolate filled with cotton candy: The eater of this fluffy chocolate might find them thinking a bit more about childhood, which is fitting for a doll or toy! The most common side effect is becoming a plush toy, but there are other types of effects as well. Doesn't that make you want to find them all?
3: Chocolate drink mix: It's time to make some hot cocoa or some chocolate milk! Drinkers of this chocolate beware; you'll find yourself just as liquid as the drink you make, much more suited to oozing around like a slime or a puddle than walking.
4: Chocolate covered crickets: These are pretty gross, right? Good thing you can't eat any more. Literally. Eaters of this chocolate will find themselves shrinking fast. Maybe you'll be as small as a bug or just a foot tall, but good luck getting back to the counter either way!
5: Gigantic chocolate bars: If you passed on the chocolate covered crickets, maybe you'll like these? With just one bite, you'll be growing...and growing...and growing. You might want to go outside. Giants aren't exactly meant to live in small houses, after all. Hopefully you can find clothes!
6: Chocolate infused with wine: Wine only gets better with age, and so will you! People who eat this chocolate will find themselves aging...perhaps to a more dignified age, or just middle age. It's not that bad, really, unless you end up in your eighties. You can still make up for the time you lost!
7: Chocolate covered gummy bears: If the wine flavored ones are too strong, then maybe you should try these. Whoever eats these chocolates will find themselves quickly becoming a teenager. Or a child. Or even an infant! Hopefully someone's around to make sure you don't spoil your dinner.
8: Chocolate fangs: These are perfect around Halloween. If you eat these, you'll suddenly find yourself hungry for something other than chocolate. Will it be blood, you new vampire? Or maybe flesh, because you're a werewolf. Or maybe seafood? Merfolk have to eat, too! Congrats on becoming a mythical creature!
9: Chocolate filled with strawberry: A warm pink chocolate shaped into a perfect circle with two dot eyes and a smiling face. You'll love these at first taste...and you'll fall in love with the very next person you see, too! Might want to eat these away from the mailman who delivered them...
10: Chocolate protein powder: Maybe you'll mistake it for the drink mix? Whoever eats the powder in any way will find themselves with an uncontrollable power. Will it be super strength? Or maybe you can't make it stop raining? Good luck calming yourself down.
11: Expired chocolates: Did you really order these? Oh, well. You're dead now. Technically. Enjoy the out of body experience. Or maybe you're a spirit who can still communicate with the world? Not everyone likes ghosts, though, but there has to be something you can do...no, don't scare people!
12: Chocolate filled with Tabasco: Well. That certainly was rude. You should punch whoever gave these to you. Or worse. You're going to get angrier and angrier with each one you eat, unable to be calmed down by normal means. Don't slam the door on your way out, you might find yourself stronger, too.
13: Chocolate licorice: One of the chocolates of love, eating these chocolate ropes will give you a desire to bind someone yourself. Will it be with handcuffs? Or maybe a tie? Or maybe just good old reliable shibari. Just make it nice and tight, you don't want your prey escaping.
14: Chocolate hard candy: The chocolate hard candies have a lot of flavor! They'll last for a while, too. Hopefully long enough to get you home. If a man finishes one of these, he'll find himself much harder than usual. It works on women, too! The bottom line is your arousal is showing and won't go anywhere soon. Oops.
15: Heart-shaped chocolate: These expensive hearts are a bit more mature than the strawberry chocolates. It's not about love, it's about lust. People who eat this chocolate will find themselves lusting after the next person they see...and maybe the person after that, too. Hey, at least it could end in a new friendship?
16: Chocolate ear: Why would you buy one of these for anyone? They're kind of gross. And mean, too. If someone eats this, they'll lose a sense. It doesn't have to be hearing; it could be sight, smell, touch, or even more abstract senses...sense of self, sense of direction. The side effects are, sadly, almost endless.
17: Chocolate rabbit: A traditional Easter treat! It makes the cutest face, and soon, you will, too! Because rabbit ears look good on everyone. Or maybe you'll end up with a tail of a cat? Or the body of a snake! Being part animal is fun, right? It might be inconvenient, too, but no refunds!
18: Dark chocolate truffles: The first of the alignment shift chocolates. The people who eat these chocolates will be twisted into a creature of darkness. A succubus, a zombie, or a mischievous dark master... You're no longer yourself, but why not give into the darkness? It will be much easier. And probably more fun, too.
19: White chocolate hearts: The second of the alignment shift chocolates. The people who eat these chocolate hearts will be filled with divinity, given the power to fight the men and women of darkness. Angel wings aren't impossible; or maybe you'll gain the traits of a fairy or unicorn or other benevolent spirit. You've got work to do, though! Behave!
20: Chocolate filled with marshmallow: You suddenly sprout a pair of wings. White feathers? Rainbow feathers? Demonic bat wings? Up to you, but you believe you can fly.
21: Chocolate filled with caramel: This gooey sticky chocolate makes every movement feel a hundred times more difficult. Maybe you find you can't even move at all. Hopefully you weren't eating this while crossing the street.
22: Mint chocolate: Suddenly you're cold. Very cold. Time to build up the fire, find a few more blankets, or maybe just snuggle up to someone to warm yourself up.
23: Sea salt truffle: Everything you think is now coming out of your mouth. Yes, you look awful in that outfit. Your boyfriend is a complete asshole, dump him now. And I never liked your spinach puffs. Hopefully you don't alienate all your friends.
24: Chocolate filled with rum: The second you take a bite of this you're hammered. Three sheets to the wind. Completely smashed. Ask someone else to drive you home.
25: An assortment: You've gotten something different...! How lucky? Or you've eaten more than one. Oh, dear. Good luck with that!
