✕ world info	A former brain imaging specialist this psychiatrist turned to a life of crime to pay the bills after being black listed from every hospital following her week long disappearance after being attacked. Sally's main goal in life to is to get by day by day usually under somebody else's employ or plan and she's not picky about employers. Her powers include a special kind of psychic control that manipulates hormones and neurotransmitters but doesn't include telepathy, telekinesis, or mind reading thoughts although she could tell if you're hungry/upset/in pain. Basically she's a walking fMRI scanner. Note: While pop culture shows fMRIs as lie detecting machines this is widely discredited in our field so she can't tell if you're lying.

I've been seeing you kicking around memes and thinking between her powers and his, these two ought to get along well. This guy is an OC magical healer from a sort of urban fantasy universe, but he would be pretty easy to work into a more superhero-style setting. (I'm more familiar with MCU than comic universes, but I'm adaptable). He's much more of an innocent bystander or possible sidekick type than a hero or villain.

His info is here, and it's a little outdated because I keep adapting his backstory, but it'll give you the gist.

My tags can be painfully slow, but I tend to be pretty faithful about backtagging as long as there's plotting going on.

	daniel riordan WITCHY GREEN MAGIC PRACTITIONER, BAD AT FEELINGS
✕ world info	daniel comes from a home-verse that's essentially about modern day magical realism. it's stock standard stuff: magic covens, rival cabals, spell warfare, but with a lot of rules about how magic is and should be shaped. daniel himself essentially belongs with the 'villains' in the verse, but can be seen as a good guy. he's gentle, he doesn't care about magical power (or any other forms of power), is a vegetarian, doesn't practice any overt battle-magic, etc. for a guy aligned with the villains, you could say he's a good dude. but he's aligned with the bad guys because he kinda doesn't care enough about, well, anything. daniel is connected to the green man and plant-life. (most people in his home-verse are to an extent, but he is extremely so.) he talks to plants and they respond to him in real-time, often reaching for him, or letting themselves be pet/bloom open in his presence, and somehow talk back to him in a way that lets them convey information. daniel's a genial, gentle soul, but he also has the tendency to act like a tree and treat other people like trees, where-in he's apathetic, doesn't care that much, and can be very distant at a deeper level. also he technically works with/for magical terrorists so it's like, how good of a guy can he be, really. (also by virtue of working for the bad guys, sometimes he turns into an owl. whatever. no big deal.)

✕ world info	Gabriel's from a piece of original fiction of mine - he was turned into a Lycan as a child and through a series of events now works for one Jacob Crane, an extremely powerful, extremely wealthy businessman, taken on as a personal bodyguard to his youngest son, Christian. Despite what his job requires, Gabriel's quite an introverted young man who dislikes violence and avoids it when possible. Although he has very low self esteem thanks to how he's been treated over the years due to what he is, he's kind, very polite and will always go out of his way to help someone who needs it. (Gabriel's story is technically set in a Tudor-esque fantasy setting, but tbh I play him in a modern au so often I'm happy to do either. Born to a french family, he was and is raised by his grandmother who is also a witch and who taught him all about his powers; the tl;dr of it is they worship nature and most of their spells and craft are based around potions, enchantments and so on. No wands or shiny lights for him but oh well! He's got plants around the house, both indoors and outdoors and that's lit af. His most defining ability however, which he shares with grandmama, is the power to interfere with the flow of life; so he can bring something (or someone - long story) back from the dead, or, he suspects, to accelerate that. It's not something he especially enjoys using or talking about though - it's conflicting because he feels it's anti-natural in a way and hasn't fully come to terms with it. Actually he'd be most invested in talking about music or poetry or books instead. He's a really gentle soul and despite various screw-ups and smoking too much when he's anxious (which is apparently around 75% of the time), he means well. p.s.: did you know he's in a band? They're gonna be big some day.

Illegal is the name of the game. Drugs, spell items, smuggling people out and back into the city, even murder, if it's necessary, are just some of the services offered. Kadmus is charming, resourceful, and determined. A crowd schmoozer. He has to be, after all, considering his position in London. He's got a laid back air to him, casual in many ways. It's easy to feel like he's a friend you've known for years, which makes people much more inclined to rolling around in bed with him. Sadly, he's a bit of a commitment-phobe, and will drop someone like they're hot the second he catches wind of the other person yearning for that sort of connection. In terms of abilities, he's a fairly normal human. Just a great people person. And he's also a null. His nullification abilities cancel out all magic around him, and its effect varies. He typically has it running so that any magic which would affect him doesn't, but he can extend the range to protect a couple of people standing nearby. Likewise, he can "shut off" this ability as well, if he needs to be healed, for example.

The Jersey Devil ran for mayor of Trenton and lost to Mothman. And werewolves are definitely real, but there's a bigass divide between "born" and "made". "Born" werewolves are sort of like those snooty WASP families that can trace their lineage back fifteen generations. Saxie is "born", but definitely doesn't act like it. At all. Her latest misstep is having a pup with a human, which has resulted in a werepuppy that turns into a golden retriever instead of a wolf. It's the family shame.

Once upon a time, there was a girl who loved her mother enough to protect her, and she died for it. Then her mother decided to change her into the same monster that she was. Once upon a time, Jordan had a good life. Until it turned out that her mother was an Alpha who fed on lower demons to increase her power, slaughtered old family friends, and ran off to fulfill her plans to bring magic back. The basic gist is that Jordan happens to be turning into a violent, hungry, magically-infected creature because her mom is a power-hungry supervillain (sort of). ✕ world info	Lindallobamesh is old. Once a warrior human from the Euphrates area who traded his humanity for demonhood and well, a skeletonhead. He doesn't remember much about that part. Along the way he attempted to impersonate a god much stronger than him in a smaller village in a bloody, debauched rule. It almost worked, until said god discovered his ruse and imprisoned him in a bottomless pit for a thousand years. Once free, he came out behind the times and a refreshed outlook on like. Now he wants to do some good(?) as a handy-demon for hire. At least he's not eating people. His time over the years has gained him a knowledge of different human languages, save latin given his refusal to learn it. His demon powers offer him long life, superhuman strength and endurance, the ability to leap high, and his unique features. Of course, there's his ability to transform into a snake. Despite his long life, he still prefers hand-to-hand and is quite bad with ranged weapons. Hard-headed, brash, and stubborn, those are the three words that surround anyone meeting this guy upon first meeting. He prefers the direct and often destructive approach. Not so much because he's a warrior anymore, but mostly because he's lazy and prefers to get things done in the fastest manner. He doesn't lack the head for being quick with his tongue. He's sarcastic and at his worst he has a black sense of humor. Even if he's trying his best around humans, he still sees himself above them.
