SUMMONING ALL HAIL THE KING OF THE DUMBASSES. You wanted to summon a demon either to control it or ask it something or just to see if you could. Get ready to get messed up, because honestly? Don't try to take care of this yourself. You know better. Don't listen to the demons. 6. HAPPENSTANCE Okay, maybe you weren't acting the dumbass. Maybe you just stumbled onto something on accident. Still, you disturbed someone's slumber and now you gotta get out. As always, these are just suggestions. Make up anything you want, as long as you're having fun! By the second set, and only the same few groupies he had acquired present (all drunk moms out on ladies night and this one sullen goth boy who might be a girl but Keiran couldn't tell), the man on the stool with the guitar and the mic stand realised that the second date he'd set up with Gabriel wasn't going to happen. All of the upbeat covers dissolved into a few just-as-sullen-as-the-goth-boy/girl ballads he'd written himself for when he was terribly heartbroken and he ended up joining his brother at the bar as the night wound down.

"It was sparks, Fee," Kili complained into his pint. "Honest to God sparks. Like my lips were on fire when they touched his." But Gabriel hadn't texted him back on a few days, though he warned him he might not be able to because of his work.

There would be no shirtless training sessions. No playful attempt to keep the scarf. No more long walks. No songs sang while looking at just one person nursing a cider in the corner.

Kili glanced at his phone but there was nothing. No excuse. No apology.

He shouldn't have asked for that kiss. His was a kiss of death. One and done. He was sure of it now. This proved it.

Fili ordered him another drink and threatened to have it himself until Kili downed it and then sighed into his new pint. "No more sadness. Kee," Fili said, putting his arm around his brother. "I've a job for you. Up by Camden Stables. One of Uncle Dolan's shipments is getting in late."

"Why don't you go?" Kili grumbled in frustration, pouting at the door that never seemed to admit the one person he wanted to see.

"Because you need the distraction or I'm just going to give you a shiner on the other eye."

And Kili couldn't really tell his brother off for that when he was right. So he left Fili at the bar, hired a taxi on the corner and went up towards the vibrant but seedier side of London. He never asked what his uncle shipped in to these weird, mostly abandoned buildings (though he knew better than to ask), he just did as he was told. Second floor. Metal case with the combination on the centre staircase landing. He tipped the cabbie well and sighed, dragging his feet, scarf around his neck.

Her family had made quite the name for themselves as strange and eccentric. Mary was branded as no different, though it was because of her age, maturity, and background. At least it was until recently. It became known that the girl not only claimed to see spirits and read tarot to make money while she lived on the street, but had begun to make inquiries to the church to come bless the family's premises. Never before had she seemed particularly religious. Not until she started hinting to the church that there might be something wrong of the supernatural variety in her home.

Not long after the rumors started she went on vacation, insisting she was fine to go with just a servant girl as an escort. Her Uncle, the only other living relative, was stuck in a wheelchair and found travel too exhausting anyway. After what must have been months of convincing, he finally let Maryweather go on a trip to the United States.

The demon hadn't managed to catch up quite yet, but she knew it was close, and was desperate. Fortunately her family's wealth and status meant that she was at least able to afford to keep going on a road trip. She refused to stop for long and tried to make it like she was just having fun. Maybe like some spoiled rich kid, but there was an air of frantic desperation to how often she wanted to move on that those around her beyond the servant girl could sense something was wrong.

The girl, Emily, sat with Mary in her hotel room as she cried, trying to comfort her employer and friend. "I can tell they're still coming. I don't know what to do, Emily. We can't run forever." Mary didn't have to convince her this demon was real. Emily had seen it as well as it chased Mary down the hall of her own townhouse while her uncle slept too soundly. She had stopped it with a cross and holy water, though it was back before long.

Emily was the one that suggested going to the church, but after they offered no help she decided to go with Mary's plan. She encourages Mary, "If we can't get help from the living, than surely some of the dead must know how to help, right? We'll find someone eventually."

It was why they had taken this room said to be haunted. Why they were touring all places that might have spirits that could possibly help.

So we're in this like super creepy and super scary place, [ Cue making cutesy "scared" expressions for the camera she has turned back on her. ] called Watchman's Grove. A little bit of backstory: it was built in 1966 as a sanatorium for all sorts of wacky diseases they had back in the 20th century, like-- like tuberculosis and polio and, um, other stuff!

Ooh, take a look at that-- literally an old wheelchair, it's still there, omigosh, 2spooky4me-- [ She turns the camera around, zooming in obnoxiously at the chair. It's covered with dust and cobwebs, but other than that it's juts a chair. Probably not even a wheelchair from the 20th century, given that it has some extra tech inserted into the handles to make it automatic, so someone must have put it there to add extra effect for the place. Hana knows it, she's sure Lucio can tell as well, but she doesn't care; this is part of her celebrity personality.
