texting meme You’ve got your TFLN, you’ve got your sexting, now here’s the meme for all those gen texts, phone calls, voicemails, pictures of your cats, and whatever else your little heart can come up with, because who doesn't like a little old fashioned friendly texting. (Or enemy texting, if that's more your bag.) instructions: What it says on the tin! Leave a comment with your character, include preferences, a start, absolutely nothing or whatever you want. Run around and reply to others. Lather, rinse, repeat.

Kuro won't come out of the bathroom.

... What did you do.

[kurotoshiro]

Who says I did anything?

[haxus]

Well, he's not upset at me.

[kurotoshiro]

I didn't do anything. But I heard the mirror break a while ago, and he won't open up.

[haxus]

... I'm on my way.

[kurotoshiro]

What should I do?

[haxus]

Talk to him through the door. He can hear you.

[kurotoshiro]

I've been trying. He won't answer me.

[haxus]

Tell him I'm on my way.

[kurotoshiro]

...I don't hear anything, Haxus...I'm worried.

[haxus]

[Running now, he comes bursting into the room, hurrying to slam his hand on the lock to the bathroom to override the previous locking.]

[Kuro's managed to do something to the door. It doesn't respond.]

[haxus]

Oh motherfucke- Kuro!

[Haxus sounds fairly panicked himself, sniffing at the air to try and get some idea of what's going on in there.]

[kurotoshiro]

[There's the distinct smell of blood, too much blood. And another long stretch of silence, but eventually Haxus might be able to hear shifting glass.]

[haxus]

[N O P E. Haxus goes to reset the system, lights briefly flicking, door being forced open by the reset and he immediately runs in to make sure his mate is okay.]

[Kuro is on the floor, which is slick with blood. He's barely conscious, and looks away from Haxus with a quiet whine, too pale.]

[haxus]

[Haxus is there scooping him into his arms immediately, careful to not aggravate his injuries. He nuzzles and licks at him with a worried whine of his own, before turning on his heel, jerking his head for Shiro to follow along as he hurries out toward the medical bay.

There's no way to escape even out of the room, sentries and guards everywhere.]

[kurotoshiro]

[Shiro glances inside, sees the shattered mirror and his other self covered in blood.

The silent instruction to follow is surprising, and Shiro hesitates in surprise before following. His attention is split, concerned for Kuro but tasting his first real shot at freedom in almost a year.]

[haxus]

[Haxus is near sprinting down the winding halls, giving Shiro no real time to think of an escape route, and they arrive at the medical bay, and doctors swoop in to take Kuro, taking him to a private room so they can work.

... Haxus stands by the door, scratching at the metal surface, growling absently.]

[kurotoshiro]

[Shiro stand uncertainly, crossing his arms with an uncomfortable frown, not sure if he should say something to comfort Haxus.]

...I'm sure he'll be fine. He's been hurt worse by the druids...the arena. [They always managed to heal them...]

[haxus]

[The thing is, he knows. He doesn't worry less then either. He's still scratching at the door, whining every now and then, going between growls and very distressed purrs in order to try and calm himself.]

[kurotoshiro]

[Shiro huffs and rolls his eyes.]
...Stop that.

[haxus]

[He growls, but stops scratching and instead starts pacing around.]

[kurotoshiro]

...Haxus... [Shiro fixes him with a look, voice steady. He needs to calm down.] He's going to be fine. You need to stop.
