TWISTED FAIRY TALES

This club is decked out in its Fairy Tale finery tonight. The bouncers at the door are dressed in playing card themed, Alice in Wonderland armor. Everyone who passes through the doors is given a chance to pull a wristband from a basin full of them. They are every shade of the rainbow and printed on each one is the name of a character from a fairy tale or nursery rhyme.

Once the wristband is attached to the wrist, a mental and emotional shift takes place. Usual habits and mannerisms are over-written by the identity – slightly twisted – of whichever character’s name is chosen. In some cases, even one’s physical form is altered.

The grand front room is dressed as an enchanted forest (though private rooms are available to guests, if desired). Moonlight shimmers through the leaves of trees that stretch well past what the roof should allow. The ground underfoot is soft and smells of sweet clover and grass. Club staff mingle among the guests offering tiny frosted cookies with candy letters inviting Eat Me and little bottles with tags that say Drink Me, the effects of which can range from a general libido enhancer to an overwhelming, targeted boost of desire for one specific act.

Leave the morals of the stories behind and just enjoy.

LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD

Visiting sick grandma is a great cover story, but what you really want is to sneak off and meet someone special – or convenient – in the woods. Maybe the Big Bad Wolf? Secretive rendezvous is the name of the game.

Your predatory urges have shifted. Now you’re on the hunt for something other than food. Chances are you still want to eat Little Red… in a whole lot more pleasurable way. Nothing is going to stand between you and your prey.

It’s your job to keep the woods safe for travelers. Except, now the travelers look too appealing to just let them slip by. Or is it the wolf you have your eye on? Take control of them and show them the way. Your way.

You’ve left your boring life behind in favor of a world of pure fantasy. You’ve been held back so long, you’ve just about bursting with need. You’ll take anything as long as it’s new and exciting.

How about some tea for two? Or you could always opt for something stronger. A good drink can lubricate those social wheels and get things moving on the right track.

Your tempting smile and smooth words are irresistible. Even though they feel a vague sense of unease around you, others still sway to your beat and will follow you anywhere. It’s up to you where you take them.

You’re in one hell of a hurry. Foreplay is all well and good, but you need it now. Right now. Who you’re with and where it happens is no concern.

Oh, you are sadistic, aren't you? Some say just for sadism's sake. Even the smallest slight deserves to be punished in your opinion and you are never lacking ideas in that department...

A beast in the sack you may be, but first you must get others to look past the literal beast on the outside. Or maybe you can at least convince them to give you a shot even with all the beastly fur and claws.

Quiet and bookish, you have yearned for something more than what you have now. While your beauty is undeniable, you have never been given a chance to actually get in touch with your baser sides... maybe you will finally find your chance.

Shallow and willful, you will stop at nothing to get what you desire! You will continue to pursue your love interest and stop at nothing, even if that means using less than fair means to get them in your bed.

[ It feels much like a dream, not that he can't remember what came before this if he put his mind to recalling, but that he can't muster the determination to try as hard as it takes. Perhaps at some point he was close but it's been drained, slipped through his weakening fingers.

This isn't actually the thick of a forest he's in, he knows that much. Or is it? He should probably be trying to find his way back out, which would only be necessary after he's found his way in first... and yet he can't keep hold of that memory to backtrack through.

Luckily, logic and some sense of self-preservation have not left him. There is no use in moving without an aim to it, so he comes to stop at a tree. One big enough to hold him and provide a higher vantage point, leafy enough for him to not be immediately visible to passersby. He has yet to run into someone but he knows he can't be the only creature in here — quite interesting noises curve through the darkness between trees, errant rustles of bushes that cause his furry ears to twitch.

His new appendages have somehow slipped under the radar in all this, drawing far less concern than they should to the boy who definitely didn't used to have two brown feline ears and a slinking tail. Obviously so, as his pants are not built for that, and make it protrude up out the back of them. But there were more important things to consider, and they do not feel so out of place, really.

He is feeling less and less out of place, sitting with his back against the tree trunk and his legs stretched outard along the limb, crossed at the ankles. Another person wandering into view below naturally calls his attention but he stays silent, merely observing her for a while — her dress, her movements, the blue band at her wrist with a name written on it. There is the normal urge to call out and hopefully stick with this seemingly innocuous person in the maze of trees, to help each other out. But a few other urges are there as well, such as the one quietly telling him he's found someone to play with. ]

Heading somewhere?

[ He finally announces, voice with a playful lilt before he shifts to hang his legs off the side of the branch. The leaves and shadows still hide some of him, but she might see the upward curve of his smile. ]

You look lost, Alice~

[Dreams are becoming an increasingly familiar experience for her, which is strange because she wasn't that much of a dreamer before all that nonsense in the Country of Hearts begun. It's strange this time, though; Nightmare is nowhere to be found and the forest looks exactly like the one she's used to see from the Clock Tower. Or more accurately, it would be strange if she was thinking about it, but her mind is fully occupied with finding someone in a forest that seems completely empty.

Someone. Who? She has no idea. Every time she thinks she's caught someone after following the soft rustling sounds coming from the bushes, she finds no one is there, and a strange sense of frustration builds up each time. That is, until she hears someone calling for "Alice".

...oh, that's right. That's her name. She's the one being called. Half-expecting the branches of the tree next to her to be empty as well, she looks up. For some reason she doesn't recall, she expects to see pink hair and several piercings on the face of the voice's owner, but she doesn't see anything...well, almost anything. A grin is visible through the branches; this time, there's definitely someone up there. And even if she doesn't show it, Alice is relieved.]

I was just looking for someone.

[It feels like she has said something very similar in the past. Odd, she thinks, but she doesn't pay any more attention to that little fact. There are more ways than one for a person to be lost, however, and right now, Alice doesn't know what her intent was when she started walking.

Not that she plans to admit that. With a certain air of sarcasm to her words, she says:]

Maybe you can help this poor lost girl find her way?

Maybe!

[ He maneuvers himself to drop down from the branch, first by hanging down by his hands for a moment before letting go to fall the rest of the way. His body bends at the impact and then he's straightening up into a bespectacled teenage boy of average height and athletic build. Jeans, a t-shirt, a band of pink-purple at his wrist. Brown shaggy hair from which peeks up two cat ears perked and pricked forward. ]

See, if it's someone you're looking for, that'll be difficult without knowing where they are.

[ He steps toward her and brings a finger up, swirling it in the air. ]

What if they're looking for you too and you're walking circles around each other? Seems kinda useless~

[ He slips his hands in his pockets as he stops before the girl, a slight tilt to his head as his eyes still study her. ]

[More likely to skew toward Japanese folktales about tricky ~~and sexy~~ foxes, but can incorporate some Western fairytale elements, too!]
