Admire your object of affection from afar. Hang out with them as much as you can. Be awkward as only you can. Enjoy being in their presence or being close to them because afhhdhflfh they're so pretty and so aaaaahh you're ensnared. Be super nice to them. Dote on them because they're so darn cute. Fulfilling their every whim will get you in good! Or be a terrible tsundere, as that's all some of you assholes know how to do. Eventually, you'll get over your denial and realize, grizzled warrior-king or megalomaniacal god or bitchy brat you are, you're feeling flushed. HOW TO PLAY Comment with your character, preference, and what role you'd like to play. Cutesy, emotional, kind, or young characters might get smitten easily. But part of the fun is seeing completely stoic, inappropriate, or horrible characters get silly quickened heart beats. Of course, said stoic, inappropriate, or horrible characters getting crushed on is just as funny. RNG for a prompt or just go nuts. If anyone outright asked him if he liked Jesus, he'd probably shut the hell up and shrug and try to avoid answering which would make it pretty damn obvious how he felt and he knew it. But he wouldn't be able to deny it. Which was why it was a good thing no one had asked. And that no one continued to ask. Because he really didn't want to have to explain why it was he went out of his way for a stupid paperback for the third time in two weeks just to see Paul's face light up when he held out the new one for him to take.

"Found it at a gas station," he said, trying to make it sound casual and like he hadn't spent three hours searching every gas station, service repair, and diner along a four mile stretch of road outside an old truckers rest just to find one Jesus didn't have. "Don't remember seein' it in the trailer. If ya do have it, I can toss it in the library in the house."

Jesus definitely didn't have it. He knew every single title by heart at this point.

[About a solid twenty-five percent of the time, if one were to statistically and methodically crunch some numbers, Fugo felt impressed by Giorno Giovanna. He had his moments. He was interesting, and bold, and extremely clever--all of this was generally agreed upon, unless your name was Leone Abbacchio and you stopped fearing God a long time ago, but beyond the basics, Giorno was unsettling. Charismatic to an odd extent. Violent in strange ways. Not bad, but enough to keep Fugo out of his path.

Absence makes the heart grow fonder, though, and after months away from his gang, Fugo is starting to get the excitement.

Objectively--surely objectively, because how could it not be--Giorno is stunning. Or, rather, Don Giovanna, who even in his excess and opulence manages to keep a generally kind heart for his people and his country, operating both out of ambition and generosity, and, for Fugo, Don Giovanna is a polarizing force. Not in that he causes violent disagreements--though that is occasionally true--he's simply polarizing, attractive in an almost literal way, collecting people around him into his circle, his famiglia, like a compass always facing north.

Fugo sates himself by accepting this fact as universal: surely everyone is just as taken with Giorno as he is, because the alternative is absurd. Everyone likes the don, loves the don, wants to be like him but never replace him. Giorno is his don, perhaps even his friend, and a powerfully charismatic person. That's all. No more, and certainly no less. (Expressing as much to Sheila E earned him an eyeroll, but that's probably just Sheila E.)

Even Giorno's presence is something close to breathtaking as Fugo enters his office, bearing an armload of manilla folders and neatly stapled files. He doesn't quite manage a smile, but he does relax in a way that conveys the same emotion a smile would for most people. This is a safe room. He knows it's a safe room, and that is enough to un-tense his shoulders some.]

[So Mista is amazingly super cool, as everyone who knows him should already know! He yelled at Shuji's manager for him and he rescued him from the rain when they were tiny and he has a great sense of humor and a gorgeous smile and-

Okay, so it's possible that Shuji likes Mista more than most people do.

Shuji is able to flirt with girls - not very successfully, but he can work up the nerve. But telling Mista that he likes him? What if Mista doesn't like him back? What if he ruins their friendship? What if he should just keep his mouth shut?

Like usual, when Shuji can't work up the nerve to do something with his name attached for fear of the consequences, he does it anonymously over the internet.
