Post with your character, canon, and any notes/preferences. (If it is normally impossible for your character to give or receive hugs, like if they don't have limbs or are incorporeal, be sure to tell us whatever you're changing for them to participate.)

1. Friendly Hug: The default hug; a hug as a show of platonic affection. Is it a normal hug, or a pouncetackleglomp? You decide!

2. Romantic Hug: Kissing isn't the only way that lovers share physical affection. Show your feelings with a romantic hug!

3. Comfort Hug: They look so sad... give them a hug to cheer them up!

4. Awkward Hug: You really don't want to give this person a hug; maybe you just had a fight, or you're just too stoic/manly/badass to do hugs in general. Too bad, you have to give them one. Do your best!

5. Scoop Hug: In addition to a hug, the hugger picks up the huggee slightly off the ground. Works best when they're bigger and stronger, but hey, seeing little girls try to pick up 6-foot badasses is cute too.

6. Surprise Hug: Sneak up on them from behind with a surprise hug!

7. Violent Hug: Hugs are supposed to be friendly, what gives? Whether you're squeezing the wind out of them or are just getting them into the perfect position for a backstab, you're only giving this person a hug in order to hurt them.

8. Other: Reroll, pick your own, mix and match, etc.

It has taken much study and practice for Sora to perfect his pouncetackleglomp, but he is without a doubt a near master at it by now. Jamie becomes the recipient of such upon first sight, potentially bowled over not only from the force at which Sora has launched himself but also due to the extra weight of the boy caused by the fact he's just leaped out of the ocean and is absolutely soaking wet, hair and clothes and all. He's grinning, completely attached, and not really caring if they're now sprawled in the sand like a couple of dorks.

Anna spots Prompto from a distance and sneaks over like she's some sort of assassin, hiding behind pillars, bushes and stalls. Honestly, she probably ends up calling more attention to herself than she would if she just ran straight up to him. Other peoples' attention, anyway, because the blond seems to be focused on his phone.

Once she's only a few feet away she pounces, jumping on him and wrapping her arms around his middle. ] Prompto!

[It had been a few days since RNJR reached Haven. Accepting that everyone had survived shouldn't have been as hard as it was proving to be. Jaune was still shocked that none of his friends had gotten badly hurt. Even Ruby's uncle was making a relatively smooth recovery. Whereas Vale was bustling and overwhelming, even the most congested areas of Mistral still had a natural serenity to them that made it easy to feel safe. Jaune knew better than to get caught up in it. They still had a long way to go.

As disconcerting as it was, he was more than relieved everyone had made it in one piece. He was actually exhausted, and had decided to explore Haven Academy while he had the chance. Despite being from Anima, he had never seen it himself, and with classes not back in session yet now was a good opportunity to do so.

He might have found the will to keep moving forward and hoping one day they would end this, but what he hadn't dared to think was that he would ever see his other classmates any time soon. So when he caught a flash of white and blue, he froze, mildly worried he was seeing things, and decided screw it before walking in the direction he saw the movement.

Her outfit was different, her hair was a little longer, and she looked a little more mature, but he easily recognized Weiss. He froze for a moment, an overwhelming surge of emotions threatening to overwhelm him. He hadn't spoken to Weiss since that night and he still remembered the last words he had said to her.]

Weiss? [His voice was quieter than he intended, but he was smiling in disbelief and fondness for the person he had trusted the most and used to gossip with, and strode forward without thinking to wrap his arms around her and pick her up in the air in the biggest hug ever.]
