The Dating Meme
Dating is, when you think about, really weird. It's a totally different thing for different people. Some are friends for years before they date; others start dating on the same day they met. Sometimes, there's a lot mushy stuff involved; other times, the couple acts just like friends. None of this is necessarily right or wrong.
Whatever it is, your character and the character you reply to are now dating. How? That's up to you. Whether it be awkward or not, the relationship will be uniquely theirs.

1. Best Friends to More: Oh, wow, you've been this person's friend forever! But then you realize you have feelings for them, and they for you. Will things change when you change your status?
2. The Sudden Decision: Hey, I just met you, and this is crazy, but here I am, date me maybe?
3. Confession: You've had feelings for this person for, like, ages, and you want to ask them to date you. Or maybe the confession just slips out...

Unfortunately, this is day three of blending in and waiting, and the only thing they've learned about Jal Nato's whereabouts is that he was last seen flirting with a Twi'lek bounty hunter somewhere along the Correllian Run. The crime lord's late, the data files they need to steal from him are still way out of reach, and Cassian's getting annoyed.
He's wearing a scowl darker than normal on his face when he slips back into the cantina, and into the booth Jyn and him have claimed as theirs. He tugs irritably at the collar of his too tight, too garish, too leathery bounty hunter outfit. ]
Still nothing at the spaceport. Nobody's heard anything about when he'll arrive, and I didn't dare ask too many questions.

A day's delay is ... understandable. Three days of waiting and watching and wondering would grate on anyone's nerves, and Jyn Erso was not the most patient of people at the best of times. Although she really did try her hardest to stay calm, cool, and collected, it was pretty obvious that her last nerves were wearing thin.
It's too loud here, too boisterous, and they've been stuck in the middle of it two days too long. At least she isn't alone in her frustration. She can see it in Cassian's expression, the way he tugs at his clothing, she can hear it in the way his words are clipped and short.
At the very least, they're in this together. That has to count for something.]
At what point do we call this a bust?
