The Court of Night Blooming Flowers
The Night Court is the casual name for the 13 houses of Mont Nuit in the City of Elua
where the Servants of Naamah worship and ply thier trade.
Elua's blessed principle is 'Love as thou wilt' but love can take many forms.
These houses see to each and every shade and color of Elua's principle.
Pay a house fee and take your pick, but remember to leave a patron gift if you have been well pleased by Naamah's gifts.

How it Works

1. Comment with your character/s. Put their name and canon along with preferences in the subject space.
2. Others will tag with their character and the house they have chosen from the list.
3. Your character can either be visiting the house or working as one of Naamah's servants.
4. Play nice! Or naughtily, if you happen to be in Valerian or Mandrake house.

The 13 houses are essentially brothels, although religiously affiliated ones, so sexual situations are to expected. Also some houses lend themselves to more triggering fare so please be respectful of each other and talk it out with your RP partner if there are problems with a scenario.

The Midwinter Masque

On the Longest Night Cereus House hosts the Midwinter Masque, an elite and private function that all the houses attend in grand costume. The guests of the house are those chosen by each house's Dowaynes and of the highest status. Royalty, political leaders, high ranking officials. All of these are likely to attend and on the Longest Night no coin is exchanged. It is a night of revelry and gaiety spurred on by the evening's drink of choice. Joie a clear, potent liquor made from a rare and exquisite white flower served in small crystalline glasses by the youths of the House.

The 13 Houses of the Night Court

1. Alyssum - The House canon is modesty. Their motto is "with eyes averted", and the servants here are well suited to acting shy, modest, and slightly uncomfortable with their own desires. If you wish your lover to tremble and blush with shame when you reveal their nakedness, this is your destination.

2. Balm - The House canon is compassion. Their motto is "rest and be soothed". Those who need healing and soothing through gentle touch and companionship may come here. These adepts are also the most skilled at massage of all the houses.

3. Bryony - The House canon is cupidity and the desire for money. Their house is more of a carnival of wonders, where you may gamble with your desires in a game of will and wits. Be careful what favors you gamble with though, for the adepts who work here are said to rarely lose.

4. Camellia - The House canon is perfection. Those who work here are physically perfect, without flaw, and as such they are considerably more proud of their station. Perhaps haughty and brilliant would best describe the adepts who reside here.

5. Cereus - The House canon is fragility, their motto "all lovliness fades". The youthful and delicate serve here, those who hold their beauty for a fleeting moment. Cereus also has the distinction of being the oldest of all the houses. The adepts here are ones who know the value of living for the present and making each moment count.

6. Dahlia - The House canon is dignity and regality. All those who serve in Dahlia house conduct themselves as royalty, with the proper mannerisms, decorum, and attitude.

7. Eglantine - The House canon is performance. Those who serve here are skilled in the arts of singing, dancing, and poetry and can perform together or privately for their patrons.

8. Gentian - The House canon is purity of spirit. The adepts here can read visions and dreams, and may reveal things that hold great meaning to those they share their knowledge with.

9. Heliotrope - The House canon is love and devotion. Their motto is "thou and no other". It is said that when one lies with an adept from Heliotrope, they shall make you feel as if you are the only one who has ever touched their hearts.

10. Jasmine - The House canon is sensuality. Their motto is "for pleasure's sake" and the experience is pure hedonism. Adepts are said to be the most exotic of all the houses, and they emphasize this in their dress.

11. Mandrake - The House canon is sadism and dominance. The motto is "yield all". Adepts are Mandrake are trained to dominate those who come seeking such release, using skills and tools to bestow plain and pleasure. A signale is arranged beforehand that patrons can use should they ever wish to stop their session.

12. Orchis - The House canon is mirth, it's motto "joy in laughter". Adepts from this house are joyful people who believe in fun above all else. They are quick with a grin and a game, and skilled in making their patrons smile.

13. Valerian - The House canon is submission, the motto "I yield". Adepts are trained from childhood to experience pain with all pleasure and pleasure with all pain. They also have a signale they can use if they need to stop.

Something about the man was interesting. The way he spoke and acted was admirable. A good looking man around his age no less (or so he appeared). Abraham walked carefully closer, hands behind his back, looking from Henry to the book as he spoke.

"On the contrary. I am pleased to see you again, I just didn't expect to see you again so soon, or at all. Not that it wasn't enjoyable, but just that I wouldn't think you to repeat business with the same individual... if you'll pardon my saying so? I don't mean to be or sound rude."

Henry gives that some thought as he makes room on the seat for Abraham to sit with him and opens the book to where they left off. "I spend my money on things I like and and enjoy, and I like enjoying you." He says running his fingers over the paper. "I have acquired your services for two night Abraham... after these we shall see how it goes." His smile is warm and welcoming, like Abraham is the only person on the planet worth seeing.

He paces some through the room, watching the handsome man with a bit of a hidden and mildly shy smile. As room was made for him he moved to take a seat near by, remembering the soft kisses the time before and the mans careful voice as he read. Something about Henry was so very welcoming.

"It's nice to hear you enjoyed yourself. You came to read again?"

"I find I very much enjoy reading to you." He smiles settling a little, "Perhaps a few other things if you are willing." He nods settling more, and putting and arm around Abe arranging them so they are stretch out a little Abe's back to Henry's front. The fingers of the hand not holding the book already brushing through Abrahams hair as he starts to read A Midsummer Night's Dream.

He shifted with ease, settling in beside the other man. He found him more comfortable then any other, and his voice was something that made his mind drift a bit. Personally, he rather enjoyed the sound of the mans voice as he read, so he had no complaints.

As he mentioned 'other things' a blush could be seen burning on Abraham's cheeks, but he said nothing as he settled in, head tilted back, feeling the fingers brush through his hair and hearing the story told. He said nothing, but he clearly had no problem with any of this.

Henry continues to read but lets his fingers trace the blush along Abrahams cheeks, smiling a little to himself as he reads. He pauses in his reading and presses his lips to the side of Abraham's necks and gives him a lingering kiss to the man's pulse point. "You flush as if you haven't spoken of such things before..."

The touch of his cheek and the lips pressed to his neck as they were made no rescue to the blush on his cheeks. He shifted glancing off else where, though smiling faintly none the less. "It's not that. Not entirely."

"Tell me what you think we should do with our evening other then read... though I do enjoy reading to you, I think I shall be coming back just do to that." He says setting the book aside lips still near Abe's neck close enough to brush the skin as he speaks. Fingers still petting through Abraham's hair.

"You should are a wonderful creature Abraham, one that should know all the pleasures a man should know... all the pleasures a human should know." He chuckles softly.

Oh how he was blushing now, shifting a bit in his place beside the man, head tilted, just a bit more as he felt the lips brushing his neck as the man spoke, breath drifting over his skin. He did not want to admit that it thrilled him, though he was sure the other could tell. The fingers in his hair and the lips so near. The question however was one that made him uncomfortable, but only slightly. He wasn't sure how to answer.

Licking his lips then biting the inside of one, as if that would help him concentrate, he shifted, just a bit to glance from the corner of his eye to Henry. "I think..." he turned a bit more to look at him better, yes, blushing, bashful. "I think you already know what we should do with our evening, sir. You tease me badly by asking."

"I am not teasing you Abraham... I am merely curious what you are comfortable with... what you are prepared to do... I have a certain need I would like to share with you... but need to know it will not change you opinion of me." He says softly placing more kisses along Abraham's neck.

"A need, M'lord?" He asked carefully, brow raised at that. Though most people who said they had a need meant... well one thing. He had the feeling that was not the same here. After all, what would he need that would change his opinion of him?

"None of that Abraham..." He says shifting their position so they are facing each other. "You may call me Henry... I whole heartily want you to call me Henry." He says leaning in and giving Abraham a kiss to the lips almost chaste.

"I.." He pauses for a moment, "I am a vampire... I have the need for blood, I do note end those in my feeding who have not committed some great travesty... but from time to time, there is a person, who will enjoy being fed from, and well it can be a pleasurable experience for both parties. The choice is yours my dear one." There is another pause. "Trust me when I say I would never to anything to you that would cause you pain."

"Henry..." He said, speaking softly as if just saying his name corrected his other comment. The chaste kiss was sweet, but seemed to lead to a bit more serious conversation, even if he did enjoy the sound of the mans voice, the words had him raising a brow.

There was a long pause as he decided over things. A vampire? A need for blood? He seemed to consider it all over deeply. Something about Henry was very easy to trust however, and he promised there would be no pain. He wasn't worried about it, nor scared, but it was a deep and strange request.

"I trust you, Henry." He licked his lips again, in consideration, facing the other, watching him careful, as if trying to read him as he spoke. "I don't know why, but I trust you.

The relief is obvious in Henry's expression and he leans in and kisses Abraham again deeper and fuller this time letting it linger for a bit. "I feared, you would suddenly find me a monster..." He says honestly. "Do you have... do you have any questions?" He asks nuzzling against Abraham's neck like a very pleased cat.

"I will answer what ever you ask..." He says before kissing Abraham again.

He knows what vampires are, to an extent, though he has never had to deal with them before. Not on a personal level, or at least he doesn't know that he has or hasn't. As Henry leans in to kiss him again he took it, seeming pleased that Henry seemed to obviously pleased with this answer.

When he drew back to speak, leaning in to kiss down Abraham's neck again, he did have questions, but he wasn't sure how to ask them. His hand came up to softly card through the mans hair while Henry nuzzled his neck. He peeked down at him, unsure, but curious.

"You said you will not cause me pain, but to take blood one must break skin, right?" He licked his lips again, consideration in his words. "You say it's a pleasure, but it sounds dangerious." And yet he was still considering it.

Henry considers the question seriously pulling back a little studying Abraham's face before he answers.

He strokes Abraham's face before he starts to speak. "Some yes, but not much... nothing more then a pinch... if that, but you shall I hope be to distracted to feel it..." Oh he was growing fond of this one, very fond.

The man was touchy, though he didn't mind. They were trained to react well to people who like the shy bashful kinds, though Abraham did have a real fluster point to him. The soft touches however were leaned into, just a bit, pressing his cheek to the others hand. They didn't have to see anyone they didn't want to see, and he did want to see Henry. The man had caught his attention almost instantly, and now?

Now he was just getting even more interesting. It was like... an adventure. Abraham didn't pull away, he just leaned in more to it. "You do this to survive?"

"Yes, I can no longer eat food, which is in and of it self a tragedy. Liquids in modest amounts are alright, and even the sun as long as I have some protection." He nods relaxing with Abraham. "It is not a life I would wish on anyone though, it is a lonely life..." He gives Abraham's neck another kiss brushing his fingers through the man's hair.

His head tipped back a bit, almost inviting to the kisses. But he still seemed curiously interested in what was being said. "IS that why you seek company? because you're lonely?" Oh, yes, not... something he should ask, really, but he couldn't help it. He was curious.

Henry stops and pulls back startled a little by the forwardness of the question. But it just made him like Abraham more, he consideres his answer before giving it. "Yes and no. I get lonely and board yes. But I enjoy sex a great deal, but with my condition it is difficult to maintain a relationship. The loneliness is just something I will have to spend eternity with."

"Eternity is such a very long time..." The tone of his voice was softer, almost with a shy touch of concern. He was forward at times, yes, though he was curious at the moment, so he didn't notice the bluntness of some of his comments.

"I can't be around for eternity, but I'll do what I can to keep you company now. It's interesting, your condition. I... I hope you don't mind me saying so."

"It is okay, I find it interesting sometimes as well, you see many things." He says softly leaning agains Abraham a little. "It is a very long time, but I find my self enjoying your company very much." He smiles again leaning in and kissing Abraham on the neck scrapping teeth against the soft skin.

"It must be hard." He said at last, not even sure he could imagine having to live forever like that. As the teeth scraped over his neck however he shuddered, turning his face a bit away, biting his lower lip lightly. His heart was starting to race at the tough and the teeth, but he wasn't fearful. For some reason this man seeped trust.

"It is at times." He admits kissing Abraham's lips pushing him back on the bed and leaning over him as he kisses him. "But there are some perks, meeting interesting people, finding you." Fighting evil... But that's for another time, now there is kissing to be done.

There is the smallest of surprised sounds that escapes Abraham as he is pushed back like so, the kiss muffling the sound somewhat. He kissed back, leaning up slightly to the other man. At the break and the words he gave a softer toned comment. "I'm not that interesting."
