"Don't. You didn't want it. If you'd... if you'd been one of us, they'd have shot you too." He brought a hand up to touch Stiles' face, fingers barely brushing over his cheek bone, his lips.

He kissed back as best he could with what little energy he had. He wasn't sure how long had passed, but his toes had stopped tingling at least 15 minutes ago and he couldn't feel his fingers. That bothered him the most, that he couldn't feel the heat in Stiles' skin and he choked on a sob. "I can't feel my fingers, Stiles." And with that knowledge came fear and realisation that he wasn't leaving this forest alive. He wouldn't get to cause trouble with Erica, or chase down Jackson and Boyd in the forest as training. He wouldn't get to see the rare smiles that meant his Alpha was actually happy to have them around. He wouldn't be able to make sure Greenburg left Stiles alone.

He wouldn't be with Stiles. "I don't want to die."
