THE POCKY GAME MEME

It's that time again!! For supernatural reasons that mere mortals could not comprehend, you and someone else are compelled to play this strange game of chicken, where there can only be one victor. You can be trapped, or just doing it as a friendly yet weird gesture! So don't be shy, this might even be the day you get your first kiss, you loser!

[Mako laughs nervously, trying to chew her piece as politely as she could.]

We-we can try again?

[Because she certainly wasn't going to admit she got nervous.]

[Ok, Ami: If Mako wants to try again, then you didn't do it wrong, and you didn't mess this up. Good!

Ami smiles, relieved.]

Of course I'd like to try again, if you do.

[Though "trying again" does mean using that previous stick of Pocky. Which is now much, much shorter.

A breath and Mako leans in, taking the Pocky between her teeth again. Ami is much closer, enough that she can feel the other girl's warm breath and Mako blushes red.]

[Well, they could always use a fresh stick. But if that occurs to Ami, she doesn't mention it.]

[They are close as they lean in, and Ami has to stifle a nervous laugh. In another second, they'll be kissing... She wonders if Mako will pull away before that happens.]
