Gen Texts !
![]() texting meme You’ve got your TFLN, you’ve got your sexting, now here’s the meme for all those gen texts, phone calls, voicemails, pictures of your cats, and whatever else your little heart can come up with, because who doesn't like a little old fashioned friendly texting. (Or enemy texting, if that's more your bag.) instructions: What it says on the tin! Leave a comment with your character, include preferences, a start, absolutely nothing or whatever you want. Run around and reply to others. Lather, rinse, repeat. |
yikes
Confusion becomes sheepishness at the statement, and his cheeks warm into a pink shade. Klavier says it so earnestly, he thinks, that it catches him somewhat off guard. ]
Oh.
[ Though, again, the underlying meaning slips past him without so much a graze. ]
Uh, that's really nice of you to say, actually. [ He shifts awkwardly now, unsure of what to say next. ]
I guess I wanted to see you, too. [ A smile tugs at the corner of his mouth. ] I like getting to hang out with you and everyone else without worrying about a case.
DEAD
He laughs, because he's that much charmed by those qualities as he is puzzled. He reaches down to grab Apollo's hand and raising it to his face.]
I meant alone with you. Herr Justice.
Hahaha
Uhm.
[ His fingers unconsciously curl and brush against soft skin, nails slightly and lightly dragging, and the rose tint that painted his cheeks burns to a bright red. ]
I think I'm lost here. Are you implying that you...don't want to go to the show?
Klavier feels like a failure
Nothing like that, you told me Fräulein was looking forward to seeing me.
[ He can feel himself relaxing into a more casual stance, stepping closer to Apollo as close as he can get without touching, really.]
But you did say you have a few hours to spare.
i believe in him
I did, but...I thought we were already spending that time together, or...maybe I wasn't clear on that. [ He could have sworn that he was. Oh, but it would make sense if Klavier would assume that Athena and Mr. Wright were tagging along while they waited for the show to start, he thinks, not even realizing how off the mark he is. ] And why are you holding my hand? You're acting stranger than usual, Prosector Gavin.
Apollo shattering Klavier's confidence part 5
He let's go of Apollo's hand because well now he, Klavier Gavin, believe it or not was feeling maybe like he was getting too ahead of himself.]
Herr Forehead. I'm asking you out on a date. You know, that thing involving two people and dinner, a movie or at the least a drink?
he's pretty good at doing that tbh
Are you really? [ The question is asked so seriously; Klavier is clearly under scrutiny here. ]
Smashed
So the smile vanishes from his face, his gaze fixed on Apollo. He remains close but doesn't attempt to reach for him again.]
Yes, really.

Which, with that being said, would mean that a date with that insufferably charming fop would be welcomed if it were an actual proposition.
And with that given answer, Apollo is finally realizing that it is, indeed, an actual proposition.
He absently rubs at the wrist which his bracelet hugs, and he waits for the pressure to squeeze around his skin, but it doesn't come. Though Klavier adopts a much more solemn expression, he's as sincere as ever. There's no tell here, no lie. ]
Oh.
[ He finally blinks again. ]
Oh! You're serious!

It only took him several attempts and being called "strange". Also he couldn't rule out the possibility of Apollo saying no.
Too late to turn back now, he supposed.]
I have been this entire time. I wouldn't drive to your office to play a practical joke, as much as you're inclined to believe.

I just...wasn't expecting it since...you're you. [ Glamerous, glitzy prosecutor. ] And I'm me. [ Plain, normal defense attorney. ] I didn't think you'd be into... [ He gives a vague hand gesture there.] You know.
[ He clears his throat, then, and glances off to the side. Okay, Klavier means it. With that straightened out... ]
Okay. We can do that.

You're more interesting than you think.
[ Another smile grows on his face, a genuine one this time. Not like the ones he gives to the cameras or the jury.]
no subject
You're not so bad yourself. [ He quips. ]
