![]() texting meme You’ve got your TFLN, you’ve got your sexting, now here’s the meme for all those gen texts, phone calls, voicemails, pictures of your cats, and whatever else your little heart can come up with, because who doesn't like a little old fashioned friendly texting. (Or enemy texting, if that's more your bag.) instructions: What it says on the tin! Leave a comment with your character, include preferences, a start, absolutely nothing or whatever you want. Run around and reply to others. Lather, rinse, repeat. |

[They sounded more like spoiled children who don't want anyone else to play in their sandbox. But..it is safer in America, for now anyway. As the times change...who knows.]
So if I hadn't invited you for dinner, you would've come home at an unreasonable hour and possibly not in one piece?
It's delicious compared to some of the other cookies I've tried. But yes, I will save you two.

[ He hasn't told her about Cuba, of course, but perhaps he will, one day. Best to keep some things quiet--especially with her being so new to this country. ]
Timely, perhaps not. In one piece, most certainly. This mutant is no threat.
[ Lol just wait until he comes home with a bloody face later. Just a head wound okay. ]
And just how many will you be ordering for yourself?

[There are lot of things that neither of them have told the other. Pietro and Wanda haven't exactly told the Professor how they came into their powers, or what they did before. ]
If the mutant isn't a threat, then why are you toying with them? Or are you trying to get more information?
[You know, if he had taken her, it would've been so easy to look into their mind and draw out that info.]
They give you two for free, I was going to ask for maybe three more. Did you think I was going to order ten? I know my sugar limits. :)
we need father daughter thread just saying
[ That would be something he'd much love to learn at some point. Go tell him all about it, Wanda. ]
If it were a matter of removing them from the picture, I'd be home by now. Unfortunately, there've been whispers on the wind of humans still experimenting on mutants, and that some mutants are willingly aiding in this atrocity. Seeing as Mystique has done her part,
I felt it necessary to lend my services, as well.
[ He's stubborn. She should tell him next time she's coming along. ]
Perhaps not ten, but a higher number might've crossed my mind.
I am all for this!
I think I've heard him give a lecture or two on mutants and humans living in peace. It sounds like a dream worth chasing.
[Oh yes, wouldn't he like to learn how she and her brother were activists in Sokovia. Who tried to run out those forces that tried to take over their homeland and also signed up to become test subjects...or maybe she should just skip that part.
Or possibly bring it up sooner. Her curiosity is peaked...could it be the same organization that funded the experiments they were part of? ]
What kind of experiments?
[They're all stubborn--runs in the family.]
I'm a cookie fiend or anything. If anything, whatever I don't eat, I can give to Pietro. He won't say no to free food.

[ Yes, of course he would. Would she like to know about the time he traveled all over Europe to hunt and kill Nazis? And then how he split his creator's head open with a coin? ]
Ah, that. That's a story for another time, preferably not over a typed platform. Do remember to ask me about the time I was imprisoned.
Would that technically make your brother the cookie fiend, then?

[ They really do have a lot in common. Plenty of things to bond over. ]
I'll remember to inquire later. Maybe over dinner. It seems we share quite a few things in common.
No, he's a good fiend. Doesn't matter if it's cookies or anything else. He enjoys free food.

[ It's not easily readable over text, but there is a thread of amusement about Charles' proclivity for preaching the same thing.
And yes, they do have much in common. She is his daughter, after all; however, even knowing this fact, they are surprisingly likeminded in ways he never imagined possible for relative strangers. There's a part of him which takes comfort in that--as if it's confirmation that she is his blood; there's also a larger part of him which finds it unsettling and even... sad. He'd wanted to spare Nina that outlook on life. The same applies for Pietro and Wanda. ]
You've been imprisoned?
[ Just like that, his amusement's dried up. Ring ring, pick up the phone Wanda. ]

So Eric may have had to call her at least twice before she finally picked up. ]
Yes?
[ Is he okay or was he accidentally calling her? ]
no subject
Who did it?
no subject
Now isn't the time for that sort of questioning. [ If he wants to know, she will share but priorities, come on. ]
It was a long time ago, and it's been taken care of. Focus on your task and just come back.
