Well, don't freak out but there was a bit of a hostage situation I was involved in.

Don't focus on that part. Anyway the taskforce that saved me, there was this...guy. He's a Lieutenant Commander of the Navy. I know, I know. Another navy boy. But we sort of hit it off.

Oh yeah, it's really good. Except you know...he's in Hawaii and I'm in Neptune.

Well, he actually offered me a job. But that would require moving to Hawaii. Which I know for most people would be a no brainer but...there's dad and everything going on here in Neptune.

Tell me about it. Dad retired and moved back home to Daytona. Now I feel weird not seeing him at work every day.

But I don't know, I mean being part of a taskforce could be huge.

Have you talked to your dad about it? If you haven't, you should. He'll want what's best for you.

Dad doesn't want me near any occupation which might put me in harm's way. He'd prefer if I were a librarian.

They offered me a job and I didn't want to take it. Because I didn't want to leave my dad and my team. But Dad sat me down and told me that he wanted what was best for me, even if it didn't involve him directly.

Now I have two championships, a Rolex 24 and I am literally the best driver in the world. Your dad might surprise you.
