[... Okay, you know, that whole notes from a fan-and-slash-or-secret-admirer prank would be a lot more effective if the person trying to pull it didn't actually fall for the person they were pulling it on.

Kirino had started small. At first it was just silly, short little notes left for Kariya to find after games and practices, telling him that he was cute and congratulating him on a job well done. Kirino had used a barely-legible scrawl to write them and signed them with "a fan". They were then left somewhere for Kariya to find. Eventually, however, the notes became a bit longer and more heartfelt, the handwriting got a bit neater, and Kirino was signing them with "a fan and secret admirer". If Kariya was down for any reason that day, the letter would offer a bit of encouragement, and a bit later down the road, Kirino also started leaving small, homemade treats.

It's been happening for well over a month by now, and so far, Kirino's done a good job of not letting anything show that might blow his cover.

For the moment, however, Kirino's standing near when Kariya ends up finding the next note left for him, this time with a chocolate cupcake in a small plastic bag.]

[ it's amazing how many excuses she can find to hang around the hale house. sometimes she drags along allison, saying that the grounds nearby are perfect for archery practice. other times she's accompanying the newly lycan-ized jackson, who she claims could use derek's help learning to control his new abilities. at her most desperate she persuades stiles (with a sweet smile, and with even sweeter words) to take a walk with her through the woods, and while he babbles on, subtly leads him toward the charred piece of property. the obvious question here is why lydia martin of all people would want to spend her time in a decrepit old house; the inside permanently covered with a sheen of dust, filled with cobwebs and loose floorboards. the only attractive feature the place could boast was one derek hale. ever since she'd been fully clued in on the supernatural business surrounding beacon hills, she'd been nothing short of facinated with derek. not only is he a werewolf, he's an alpha, which only makes him more attractive in her eyes. after all, she's always been attracted to status, and even more so power.

today she's perched on top of the desk where derek is seated, and to be perfectly honest she almost feels bad for him; the poor guy obviously has no skill with computers. he's been looking at the screen of the macbook infront of him for awhile now, a scowl prominent on his features. her heeled boots hit a rhythm against the wood of the desk as she swings her legs. ]

You know, if you need help, you could always ask. There's no shame in it, really.

[It took an enormous amount of effort for Melia to even begin to take a few steps toward the room, as she was completely distracted in thought by what she was going to say. The risk of losing their friendship would be in the air if she went through with this, however, a large part of her was determined.
