Haunted House Meme
Everyone knows to stay away from the large empty house on the hill. It’s haunted. But maybe you’re seeking a thrill, or maybe you’re searching for something lost or locked away. Maybe you are the ghost haunting the old building. Maybe your car has stalled, and the house on the hill is the only building for miles. But is it empty, or is there something waiting?
Leave a comment with your character's name, fandom, any preferences you have, and what brought your character to this haunted location.
Feel free to play any level of leisurely exploration of creepy buildings or intense survival horror!

The Haunting
A. Ghosts. Creepy, tragic, and possibly violent, they’ve got unfinished business in this world and you’re the unsuspecting victims who have just become the targets for their wrath.
B. Creatures. Unearthly monsters summoned from a hell-dimension or mutations created by a mad scientist, this is their house now, and they are fascinated and hungry.
C. The People in the Walls. Someone—or several someones—have been living in this house. They’re no longer human anymore, and their sanity has been frayed to the very edge. They’ve been surviving on mice and bats until now. But now you're here, and don't you look delicious?
D. The House Itself. Maybe it was built evil, or maybe it became evil after the horrible deeds that were committed in it. The very walls of the house are soaked with blood, and the house is angry, and hungry. It has you now, and it doesn’t plan to let you out.
E. The Cabin in the Woods Experiment. None of this is natural phenomena. You don’t know it yet, but you’re part of a larger experiment. You’re the rats in the maze, and the scientists are observing—and toying with—your every move.
F. Choose your own horror movie plot!

[Wrench grabs the weapon from her, and holds the weapon out in plain sight of the spirits. His plan is batshit crazy, dumb, and probably influenced by all the terrible movies he's watched over the years, but it's worth a try.
The gun catches the light of his mask and becomes more obvious. A shard of glass shatters against the spikes on his mask, but he continues on with his plan.
He empties the revolver, each piece of ammunition falling to the ground. He's glad he opted only to bring the pistol inside. They'd probably be dead or possessed if all the contents of his truck were in the building. He starts yelling at the ghosts.]
Hey! Calm your tits! We're just here for the wreckage, ghostie goos. See? I'm emptying it. Nobody's getting shot.

No, Wrench. They didn't kill him.
[She did.]
But when he was killed, they took his corpse away and left the rest of us alone.
[Still, at least one of the spooks has stopped now. It's still invisible, but there's a little less pressure now. It may be as close as they're going to get.]

[Hey, it's working a little. So he'll carry on. He'll disassemble that weapon as best as he can. He thought about just sacrificing the gun as is, but he's afraid that might get them killed as well. He might as well render it useless to anyone dead or alive.]
Well shit! This...nngh...is the best we can do...
[Blood still runs down his forearms in small lines. He briefly pauses to pull down his sleeves, then continues to work behind the chalkboard.]

1) The ghosts hadn't been trapped as long, meaning they hadn't lost as much of themselves.
2) They were teenagers, mostly, and not kids. They were capable of some rationality.
So, curiously enough, the winds die down a bit more with each gun component that hits the ground, until there's nothing left.
Should the two look out from behind their improvised shields, they'll find the ghosts left a note literally scratched onto the wall across from them:
