There's a long precedent in folklore and myth of beautiful young people - both men and women - being kidnapped by monsters: dragons, beasts, goblins, demons, elves, vampires, wolves, or even evil humans. In the end, however, these prisoners are almost always rescued and brought back to civilization to live a normal and happy life.

But what if they didn't want to leave their jailor?

They've seen behind the surface and have begun to sympathize with this "monster;" no, more than that, they've fallen for them. Will this story have a happy ending? Will the monster believe that anyone could love them? Most importantly, though, can the two of them be left alone without any attempts at a "rescue?"

Thread anything that could remotely fit under the umbrella theme. Was the kidnapping just that, or did both parties know (and care) for each other before, making it a collaborative, mutual effort? Perhaps you'd prefer to play the actual Beauty and The Beast-style getting to know each other or seeing behind the grizzly facade. What about an attempted "rescue?" Or maybe you could thread out a scene where the prisoner runs away from the society they were forced back into and returns to their beloved beast! It's all up to you. You could even do smut if you wanted to, but this isn't a smut meme.

"You paint?" LeFou was impressed; he'd never tried painting but he doubted he'd be any good at it. "I'd love to see your paintings."

And Hunter liked roses. Funnily enough, that wasn't surprising given their current location. He gestured vaguely at the roses around them.
"Are these your work?"

Hunter nodded. "I found this secluded place a couple of years ago, when my own heart was breaking. At that time, the gazebo was in poor repair. And it really helped me to take the time to repair the gazebo. And then also plant some rose bushes around it."

"It's beautiful." Hunter was beautiful, too, but LeFou didn't say so. He didn't dare. "Whoever broke your heart must be an idiot." People said LeFou was an idiot - Gaston, mostly - but even he wasn't stupid enough to want to hurt Hunter.

"He doesn't matter to me anymore." Hunter stands to select one of the roses, picking it gently off the bush.

Then he turns and presents the rose to LeFou. "You matter to me, much more."

LeFou took the rose and held it close to his chest, inhaling deeply.
"I know the feeling." He didn't know how he could be so besotted with Hunter, so quickly. Gaston who? He used his free hand to bring Hunter's own hand up to his lips, bashfully kissing the back of his hand. He didn't know what else to do to express his esteem.

Hunter smiled softly. After the kiss ended, he traced his hand against LeFou's face again. "I'm glad I was able to help you feel better."

"I'm glad you came to talk to me." LeFou smiled back at him. "I still don't see how you knew I needed you, but I'm glad."

[ooc: this seems like a great place to end the scene. I have a very busy work-intense weekend ahead of me. I enjoyed the scene, but just didn't want to drop off the face of the Internet on you without notice]
