[ It's those in-between hours, either too early or too late for any sort of real progress to be made out in the simple world of humans.

Peter, despite his usual disregard for time or other social constraints, has given in to the time and made himself at home in Lydia's bed. He slipped in not too long ago, silent through the guest bedroom window (and darling, oh, he noticed the latch on your ledge, what a nasty thing to do) and shifted the bed and sheets nearly not at all while climbing in next to her sleeping form. But now he's not so aware of limbs or personal space or anything at all and the bed moves with him as he rolls and tucks, fitful for just a few moments before he settles back down with a possessive hand tucked under Lydia's pillow. ]
