Turncoats don't look good on anybody

BETRAYAL MEME
You have done something unspeakable to the people closest to you. How did this come to be, and how will you make amends?
Instructions
Post with your character with their name, series, and whether you're the betrayer, the betrayed, or simply leave it blank! Then, either make up your own scenario to your liking, or use our prompts (RNG totally optional) and go wild!
(Example: for organization's sake, denote b3+2 where you killed someone and are trying to hide it or r5+3 for a situation where you side-hopped and now want nothing more than to make things right, so that people know at a glance whether you're betraying or being redeemed and what you did.)
betrayal; you've turned your back on everything you once stood for
1) you're innocent. it's not your fault, but they can never know. maybe you're protecting someone. maybe you're being blackmailed. whatever the case, it's your dark secret.
2) you're hiding. you've done something terrible, but no one knows it yet. how far will you go to bury what you've done for good?
3) you're uncertain. everything is in place now, but nothing's been set into motion yet. maybe it's not too late to turn back. or is it?
4) you're slipping. you thought you could change. maybe for a while you even managed to. but now you find yourself falling back to your old ways, and everyone around you is at risk.
5) you're reacting. they betrayed you first. you're not in the wrong. they deserve this. they brought this upon themselves. you're not really betraying anyone if they pushed first.
redemption; you've done something that can never be forgiven
1) you're trapped. they caught you red-handed, or maybe you turned yourself in. now those you betrayed are free to face you one by one and have their revenge.
2) you're false. this whole betrayal thing isn't working out quite the way you'd hoped. maybe if you play your cards just right, you'll be able to get your old life back.
3) you're selfless. whatever forced your hand to begin with doesn't matter anymore. you'll destroy yourself and play the role of a villain to the very end if that is what it takes to make things right.
4) you're lost. what you did was wrong, and you know that now. you can never be sorry enough, and you've lost your way. all you want to do is find home. won't anyone out there show you the way?
5) you're tortured. you have to make amends for what you've done. you have to. the thought consumes you, possesses you. you have to find them, help them. but after what you've done, will they even want to see you again?
what you've done;
1) you sold them out
2) you killed
3) you joined the other side
4) you stole
5) you lied
6) you simply are. you were never 'good' to begin with.

Crow doesn't like what Kiryu has become, doesn't like what he's done, but he's still their leader, even if they're no longer a team. He can't, he doesn't want to know what Security will do to Kiryu if they get their hands on him. Kiryu needs to be stopped, but... not the way Security will do it.
Crow hadn't had a great time with Security, and that had just been for theft. What would they do with someone who bombed their building?
He spots a flash of white hair as he runs past an alleyway, and quickly backtracks in hopes of finding Kiryu. But when he rounds the corner, rain beating down on his back, Crow gets more than he bargained form
Kiryu standing, blood on his cheek. Crow's gaze falls to the fallen Security officer. It's dark and the rain doesn't make it any easier to see, but that's... that's blood pooling under the uniformed man, isn't it.
"Kiryu!" His gaze immediately darts back up to Kiryu, a mix of fear, revulsion, and anger burning in his chest. He hands clench into fists. "What did you do!?"

Team Satisfaction's Last Duel, and the enemy is all of Satellite's Security.
He holds tightly onto the pipe he's picked up and with which he has brought down the very first of officers that will fall to the might of their team, smiling widely as he turns towards Crow.
"I started our Last Duel."
He's stood up and fought as they should have done from the very start, would have done if Yusei and Jack and Crow just weren't so damn afraid. But he'll show them that they don't have to be, has shown them with this very deed that-
"See this?" Kiryu nods at the body to his feet. "There's nothing to fear! They bleed and they fall; Security isn't invincible! We can beat them!"

She was alone, and on a planet that was nothing more than one lunatic's base of operations, filled with Krogan and the Geth, she was also exposed, but Samara did not feel fear. Driven out of the Asari space in search of her runaway daughter, she found herself entangled in other matters of equal import. Morinth's trail had ran cold, but Matriarch Benezia betrayal was fresh in the minds of all. Or at least, all who knew. Classified information she only came across by using force in many cases.
Each and every Geth soldier coming at her was thrown or ripped to shreds, the blue hue of biotics flashing time and again. The Krogan were more problematic, stronger, heavier, hardier. But she fought, and successfully, those few that came her way. One such, however, she caught and kept alive for questioning. Dangerous, risky, but she held him down with biotics, and kept the barrel of her assault rifle at the soft flesh of his throat. One shot there, and it would kill.
"Where is your master?" All she got in response was insults in that rough, gravelly voice. "I will not ask again."

Saren admittedly held very little dealings with Justicars. He recalled his own surprise when Nihlus reported his encounter with one, since surely, a Justicar would have turned their attention to him, first, before someone like Nihlus.
And this particular Justicar matched the description NIhlus gave perfectly.
Saren approached Samara from behind.
"Ah, Justicar, to what do I owe the pleasure?"
The only reason he chose to engage at all was curiosity. Did she seek him because of Nihlus -- because he took her mark, so to speak, or was it something else?

With no mercy, she emptied the clip of her assault rifle into the Krogan soldier's skull, holding it down hard against the recoil. Only then, only when she could release the limp body of her victim, did she stand and turn towards Saren. Tall and proud, but above all else calm, Samara did not feel threatened by his approach. Not only did she unhurriedly reload her rifle, but the expression she wore was the perfect picture of impassiveness.
She could list his crimes, before enacting the punishment, however.
"Treachery against the galaxy, murder—," her former target, though she had since learned the truth about what she saw that day. And ever since, her respect for Nihlus had been great. All the same, she did not offer any insight into her personal thoughts on the matter. "Mind control and forcing the hand of Matriarch Benezia against her wishes. Your death will bring peace back to the galaxy."
