Ruby let out a small sigh, watching Pyrrha from a distance. She had to admit she was so cool, but there was that wonderful big sister feeling she enjoyed. Oh, sure, she had Yang, but Pyrrha was something different and she could 't put her finger on it.

Curiosity got the better of her, however, and she opted to join her friend.
"Hi, Pyrrha!"

"Oh - hello, Ruby," Pyrhha responded over her shoulder with her usual chipper demeanor.

She turned so that she could face the younger girl. It was really amazing that she had made it into Beacon at her age and then gone on to become a team leader. Of course, the gathering of the relics had also made it clear how deserving it was.

"On your way back to your dorm?"

Ruby couldn't help but gaze at Pyrrha, smiling at the girl before her. Oh, sure, Pyrrha was just so super popular with all of her accomplishments, but Ruby didn't see her that way. In her mind, she was a pretty girl who was just very good at being a Huntress..

"Uh-huh. Were you doing the same?"

"I was, but I think I might grab something to eat first," the red head replied. Then she smiled as she remembered something. "I think they are serving cookie cake for dessert today. I really shouldn't eat that, but I may let myself slide for once."

It would taste better than Pumpkin Pete's cereal, at least. If someone was going to eat something bad for them then the trade off should be that it at least tasted good.

At the mention of cookie cake, Ruby's eyes lit up, a big grin flashing on her face. "Oh! Can I join you?!" She asked excitedly. "I mean I don't have to, but I'd love to share the cake with you!"

A beat.

"I-I mean...!"

Pyrrha merely laughed , raising her hand a bit to cover her grin. The girl's reaction was predictable. She would be lying if she said she had not mentioned cookies on purpose just to see if Ruby would accompany her.

"I'm sure there is more than enough dessert for us all," she replied, still smiling. "It would be a waste if you didn't come. We should probably go before Nora wakes up from her nap though."

The short girl had these sporadic bouts of energy and snoozing and one was never sure when she'd revive.

"Good idea. We might get there and she'd beat us to it!" Ruby said. "C'mon!"

In her excitement, she grabbed Pyrrha's hand.

Ah! [The red head let out a sound of surprise as she was tugged along in the direction of the cafeteria. She was just glad the girl had not used her semblance. Ruby was notoriously enthusiastic for cookies.

When they arrived there was still plenty of cake. As usual, Beacon's staff had outdone themselves.]
