1. Love at First Sight...or, at least, Interest. Hey little mama, let me holla at you. 2. Gradual. Your interest in this person is growing after getting to know them. 3. Excitement and FREAKING OUT. Oh my gosh, there's absolutely nothing you'd rather do than spend time with this person you want everything to be perfect oh gosh oh gosh. 3. Hormonal. Girls are so weird but they look so nice. 4. BFF to BF Your friendship is becoming/has become more than that. 5. Secret Crush You can't let you liking the head cheerleader or the king's daughter get out. It would be a disaster. 6. What is this...Love Thing? I don't understand love. What is love, baby don't hurt me --- 7. Unacceptable Your brain is betraying you and making you have gross emotions towards that person. 8. You Totally Like [blank]. Everybody knows your little secret. Guess it's not a secret, then. 9. MY LIFE IS OVER. You embarrassed yourself, so clearly no one will ever love you ever again. 10. Grouchy. Or Stunted. Remember how I said not just silly kids can get crushes? This is for all the adults who are finally feeling that fluttery feeling in their chest. 11. Dumb Shows of Affection. You want to show how much you care. These thoughtful gestures can range from not-so-dumb (she likes cookies, I'll buy her one!) to really dumb (I'LL BUY HER A LIFETIME SUPPLY OF COOKIES). 12. Forbidden Attraction. Everyone knows exes are off-limits. It's, like, the first rule of feminism. Also included are siblings of best friends, best friends, and cute people in general. 13. Ridiculously Over the Top. SHMOOPY POOPY CUDDLE BEAR! All sorts of pet names and inappropriate PDA here. 14. Fluffy Moments. Not necessarily dates, but just hanging out and having fun together. 15. Confession. I REALLY LIKE YOU PLEASE GO OUT WITH ME I carved this rock with my bare hands for you. Or maybe something more subtle. 16. Unwitting Object of Affection. Usually an older party or someone completely uninvolved with this malarky, but crushes know no bounds. 17. Adorable Kisses. Please don't let me miss, please don't bump noses... 18. Sloppy Makeouts. Put on "Stairway to Heaven" and go to town. 19. Arguments. You jerk! Look what you've done! I never want to see you again. 20.First Time Obligatory smut option, touch a boob, etc. 21. ANYTHING ELSE
[It seems Eichi doesn't take a hint, or hasn't even considered that he's not worth listening to. He stays at Yuri's side, following him along wherever he might be wandering to with that same calm smile on his face. Polite and proper... and his eyes are shining a little too bright.]
Fufu, but even I can't offer my services as a guide. This may be my home city, but I've gone out so little that I don't know one shop from the other. Still, I do know a thing or two on the shops that are around here thanks to rumors and reports from my fellow students.
More importantly than that, I could be your company. ♪ It must be lonely walking around alone.
( He's still talking, and Yuri can't figure out why. The nattering on earns a look more of confusion than the rest. The particulars register without meaning much of anything in the first place. )
Considering I set out on my own, not really. Though You're free to walk wherever you want.
( He points out, shoving his hands deeper into his coat pockets. It sounds like this guy's inviting himself along, but to what purpose? What does he want? Yuri metes out a suspicious look and a frown he doesn't bother hiding, resisting the urge to reach up and pull his hood down over his head. A thin disguise he uses less here than back home; he has not run into many Yuri's Angels here (aside from Mari, and he makes an exception for her: she's not annoying, and it's kind of nice? He guesses.).
He tips his head up when he sees a sign he recognises; or more the symbol, picking up his pace. Crepes are on the menu. Maybe something to drink, too? Who knows, could be cute shapes on those things, there's unaccountably adorable stuff littered just about everywhere, if one keeps an eye out. )
Fufu, have I been granted that freedom by you, Yuri Plisetsky?
[Well, if being a casual isn't working at all, then Eichi will just casually (and a little creepily) drop his full name like this. If he has the freedom, then he'll pick up his pace, ignore his aching body and smile while trying to reach him with words. Eventually it will work. An idol can't stop reaching for their dreams.]
( That makes him frown, pulling his attention back over his shoulder until Eichi's caught up with him again. What the hell? Okay, it's not like he's unknown in town, but what is this guy's deal? )
[He chuckles at that reaction, stepping forward a bit more to try and cut him off.]
You're right about that. It's me granting myself my own freedom that has me following you until you're left thinking "Why won't he leave me alone?" I'm right, aren't I? [It's not hard to guess, but nevermind that. He holds out a hand for a shake.]
My name is Eichi Tenshouin. Since you're not from Japan, it makes sense if you don't know of my family, but they hardly matter in any of this anyway. I'm an idol that will stop at nothing to reach the top, and you've helped me in countless ways, so I'd like to thank you for that.
( He manages to edge in front of Yuri, causing the younger teen to pull up short and frown. He's been yelled at by Lilia enough to not snap at someone once he recognises them as a fan; he's mildly surprised, since for the most part, his vocal fans are teen girls. Eicihi... is not a teen girl.
Belatedly, he takes his hand, shaking it twice. )
... You're welcome? You watch the livestreams or the recorded video?
( He knows hardcore fans all watch livestream however they find it, but he doesn't know anything about Eichi or how he, of all people, have helped him out. Idol gets a twitch of his eye, but it's a reaction to something unrelated. The term itself doesn't mean much in this context. )
I have no idea what an idol is, for the record.
( Now performers, singers, dancers, yes. But the idea of an idol is something more Japanese that he hasn't bothered pinging too, even when his whole nickname is apparently ported over from reminding Mari of an idol she loves. Or was that a boyband? (He doesn't actually know.) )
[Whenever possible, he'd tune in to livestreams. Recorded video would be for the times he wanted to watch it over and over again, or if he missed one live, and so on. He gestures lightly with his now-free hand.]
Fufu, you haven't learned since your time here in Japan? I suppose you've been too busy with your own training and business to worry about the entertainment here. An idol is someone who performs for their audience. They sing, dance, and more than that, it's a true show to witness.
( Is he supposed to small talk. He doesn't sing, he dances on ice (and off it, just not professionally), and... okay, so he knows about showmanship. He has to. He sells a performance to an audience and judges every time he's on the ice.
Shoving his hands in his pockets, he leans out to one side. )
Look, did you want a picture or something? I was planning on eating, and I don't... ( know what to say with fans who aren't yuri's angels, since they mostly want photos and to track him down in the weirdest ways. ) ... performances, huh?
( What does Eichi want? Yuri, graceful, hungry, and hoping this isn't "how fans are weird 101" yet again. )
