The Adolescent Sexual Exploration Meme

Though the concept of "adolescence" is a relatively new one, the nebulous age between the onset of puberty and the age of majority has almost always been a time for changes. A young person's body as well as their mind is changing, but most importantly, they are on their way to becoming a sexually mature adult. Often times, these adolescents may feel the desire to express themselves in this intimate way and experiment with others their own age. This may happen in a safe environment, but not always. Depending on the time and place, these sort of activities may be viewed as harmless or the ultimate taboos, especially if the desired person or act is otherwise "deviant." Still, that doesn't change the fact that the urge, more likely than not, is very, very present.

How to Play
-This meme is for sexual exploration between inexperienced, underaged characters. The point is for character growth, awkwardness, sweetness, or fluff, not necessarily sexiness.
-All characters should be 18 and under or taken from a canon point where they are (ie, canon!Dean Winchester isn't applicable to this meme, but pre-canon teen!Dean is).
-All characters, human or not, within the correct age range are welcome.

[OOC: Sorry for the delay! Let's go for a mix of 1 and 2, since it's pretty much what happened to the guy? Let me know if this needs tweaking.]

He really shouldn't be at the party in the first place. There's way too much going on in Archie's life and in his head to be putting himself into this kind of situation. But the idea of getting a little drunk and running away from his problems is a little too tempting, so here he is. And speaking of temptation, luck and fate and probably more than a little plotting on Cheryl Blossom's part have intervened and Archie's now getting shut into the closet with the new girl, Lydia.

To Archie's surprise, he's not feeling much hesitation tonight, between the beer and the want to just do something simple and understandable, like move in on the gorgeous new girl in front of him and see if she's at least up for making out, if not more.

[ooc: That's okay! I'm perfectly okay with slow replies, I'll backtag pretty much into forever! And it's perfect!]

Lydia would never admit it out loud but being the new girl was pretty nerve wrecking. Back in Beacon Hills she had never had any trouble with things like this. She was one of the most popular girls in school...but now to start over with a new place and new people? It was...different. But she knew it wouldn't take her long to start fitting in. That was confirmed when she had been invited to the party. She had accepted, of course. She never said no to a party and she had fun getting to know people and drinking cocktails.

Before she knew it though she was being pushed into a closet with a guy...what was his name again? Alex? Andy? Something. Usually she would protest but...she'd had a bit too much to drink. She raises a brow, arms crossed over her chest.

"So...is this what you guys do for fun around here?" It seemed a little childish to her. So why was her heart beating faster as she looked at this guy? Why was she getting the urge to kiss him? Maybe it was the alcohol. Maybe it wasn't.

[OOC: Same here, and thanks!]

Archie shrugged. "Yeah, sorta. I mean, Riverdale's not exactly the big city, so we make do." Not that he didn't love his hometown, but when he tried looking forward to the rest of his life, he was certain it didn't involve staying in Riverdale forever. Or at least he hoped it didn't.

"Besides," he went on, moving closer to Lydia. "Are you telling me in your old town, teenagers didn't find any and every way to give themselves excuses to make out or hook up?"

Because even if he didn't know Lydia that well, there was definitely a loud voice in the back of his head very much wanting those things to happen right then and there with her.

[Is there anything in particular that appeals to you? For how they know one another... they could have a friendly academic rivalry (one of them being a transfer student, presumably) and/or a study abroad program, if you want to go the normal AU. If we want to embrace the weirdness, Uryu is an exorcist so he might be able to pick up on Lydia's peculiar nature/she might ping the ghosts he hunts and he could help her fight it off, and the shared experience gives them a (non-supernatural) bond of sorts?]

[ ooc: There's nothing specific that jumps out! I'd be open to any of the options of just freestyling it! As for how they know each other let's embrace the weird and stay true to both of the characters! I like the idea that he helped her fight off some kind of spirit so let's go with that! If you'd like me to start us off with something just let me know! ]

[Option 1: If you'd be interested in playing out finding out about one another's secrets, Uryu's friends, thinking he's way too uptight and straight-laced ~~they're not wrong~~ set him up on a blind date with Lydia. Could start as he walks her home, if you want to play out the attack, or in the aftermath (whether or not he gets hurt in the process of saving her is up to you).]

[Option 2: Lydia's been dating someone since before she and Uryu met, and though Uryu has a crush on her that anyone (including her boyfriend) can see. Boyfriend, eventually fed up with their inexplicable closeness, offers an ultimatum/breaks up with her, and she ends up on Uryu's doorstep looking for comfort.]

[ Lydia couldn't even see where she was going, her eyes were filled with tears. Or was that just part of the downpour that was happening? Where was she even going? Her boyfriend had just broken up with her and instead of going to her best friend Allison for comfort she was walking in the complete opposite direction.

It only took her a few more moments to figure out where she was going. She was going to Uryu's house. The whole reason her boyfriend had broken up with her in the first place. He'd thought they were too close. And in a way they were. Uryu knew things about Lydia that her boyfriend hadn't had a clue about, he knew about her...capabilities. He had some capabilities of his own too. Of course that was going to bring her closer to him. But no matter how much Lydia had told her boyfriend...ex-boyfriend now that nothing was going on between them he just want's able to believe her. Instead of being angry with Uryu for being the reason they'd broke up all she wants to do is see him.

So there is a knock on his door and when he opens it he will see a shivering and soaking wet Lydia standing on his doorstep... ]

[The last thing Uryu expects on a rain-drenched night like this is to hear someone at the door. He isn't quite sure what he expects to find when he opens the door, but it definitely isn't Lydia.]

[Though surprise dominates his features, he wastes no time in stepping aside, gesturing for her to come in from the rain.]

What happened? [His concern is undisguised – a side of him that few of their classmates are privy to outside of his circle of friends. He doesn't seem cold or brusque now, just worried.] I'll get you a towel – if you want to change, I can get you a bathrobe – [Already his mind is racing to solve the immediate problem he's presented with, that she's soaked to the bone.] I made tea, there's some left, it should warm you up –

( Available in canon superhero flavor, or AUs where she's some kind of urban fantasy-esque white witchy pagan, high fantasy mage, or a plain high school/college kid with freaky abilities. I'm particularly interested in a scenario where she's a darker Sabrina the Teenage Witch, dealing with some occult shit and trying to keep eldritch horrors at bay while dealing with stupid kid feelings.

[ can work with canon or AU stuff (like high school + gaming background, minus the whole "war veteran" angle). obviously with assumed relationships. don't want to go too much younger but 16 is fine. easy approach would be some kind of bet, or random cuddling leading to fooling around. ]

Not that it had bothered Marilyn any. She'd just been happy to have Hana around; a smart, talented girl who wants to spend time with Marilyn as much as Marilyn wants to spend with her. It's a good feeling to have.

Tonight is a normal Thursday night for the two of them. They're both over at Hana's house, Marilyn watching contently, her wheen chair sitting next to Hana's computer chair, as her girlfriend wraps up her nightly twitch stream.

Her eyes, admittedly, are more focused on the determined expression on Hana's face than they are on the computer screen, but she doesn't say anything. This is the last game of the ni gh t, and she doesn't want to say anything that might distract the other girl - she can wait until after Hana is done to ask for the kiss she wants so badly.]

[ Hana was equally fortunate to have met Marilyn. while her own personality and hobbies turned off a lot of her peers and she had trouble with making friends, it felt really good to have her around to provide support above and beyond what her growing internet fanbase was capable of giving her. though she had always been somewhat detached from the idea of forming meaningful relationships with others for very long, what with her family always moving around thanks to her parents' occupations, for the first time Hana felt like she didn't want to move on from a particular town...

with the last game finished, Hana signs off cheerfully and then takes off her headset. a sigh and a drink of her soda later, and she's free to give her girlfriend all the attention she deserved. ] Whew! That challenge was tough, but it was worth it to see the stream flip out when I beat it, haha. What did you think?

It was nice. [She replies with a smile.] I like watching you, when you're so passionate about winning.

[This takes place before she completed her armor (or just in a universe where she doesn't build it at all). Still wheelchair-bound, but she'd have a lot more mobility at this point in her life. ]

Ruby was kinda confused - she was certain everyone was going to have their own separate hotel room for this trip to the mountains. However, it seemed that there was a mix up and she ended up with someone else - Marilyn, whom Ruby had to really admire, being quite cute...

"Whoops...! Um... I didn't realize we were bunking..."

For Marilyn, the pairing is less of a surprise. She hadn't known that it would be Ruby that she'd be sharing a room with, but it wasn't uncommon for her to be paired with another student during overnight field trips like this.

Being partially paralyzed by ALS, she sometimes needed a little assistance getting into and out of her wheelchair. And, really, it only makes sense to have someone on hand at night, able to get help if something goes wrong in the middle of the night.

All that being said: It's a little embarrassing that the cute, energetic girl she'd been sneaking glances at all semester is the one she'd been paired with.

"Yeah, sorry about that," she says with a blush. She's been crushing on Ruby since they met at the beginning of the school year, and this situation isn't making that fact any easier. "They usually like to have someone room with me. I know it's not ideal."

"N-no, no, it's okay!" Ruby said, waving her hands quickly. "I'm just surprised, that's all!" Ruby had forgotten Marilyn's problem and it dawned on her why she was chosen. Of course, this meant that she would be tending to her when needed, causing her to blush further.

"Well, in that case, guess we're roomies!" She said, smiling wider. She quickly opened up the door and got to Marilyn's side. "Here, I'll help you in!"

She's trying to impress her, how cute!
