PIMP MY PLAYGROUND MEME

PIMP MY PLAYGROUND MEME
Rec your favourite places to play
Have you been looking for new places to stretch your RP feet? Are you new to Dreamwidth and haven't got a clue of where to even start to find comms you might like to try out? Or maybe you are an old veteran and just always looking for new things to try out or just a little worn out of your usual stamping grounds? You might even just have a certain taste in the types of communities you play in but aren't sure how to find anything fresh. This meme is for us players to pimp and promote the comms we enjoy playing or writing in. You might want to promo your favourite games or dressing rooms, or maybe you're a mod and want to give a bit of a plug to your own communities to spark a little more interest. This is the place to do it. RULES: Note, this is for giving your comms a bit of a plug and offerings recommendations, it isn't an advert meme, so no game ads and no large graphics. Please just post the name of the communities, what their purpose is (game, dressing room, meme comm, muse prompting, etc) and maybe include a small blurb of why you like it or a link to a premise. If you are promoting a game, feel free to add characters or canons you might be specifically after. |

Muse prompt comms & a new open RP/dressing room!
I would like to pimp three comms I'm excited about getting my new pup here out in more, especially considering I love prompt writing:
All these comms have more information on their profiles, and the first two just recently moved over from LJ, which is pretty much a big reason why I came here. Check them out! :) I'm always looking for new RP playgrounds, so maybe I might see you there.

It is a RP game. And it will start off this weekend with fresh, new plot for anyone who is interested. I welcome any characters who are looking for a fun place to play. They can be from any of the communities listed above.
There is an application and some rule guidelines in the ooc community.

It is a roleplaying game, where characters can interact with other characters. Right now I am working with players for a fresh overall plot to go with the game.
Players are encouraged to create their own threads, either to forward their own subplots, or to respond to plots that are ongoing in the game.
Most of the plot in the game will be self-made, self-generated and self-executed. It is a pseudo-canon game, meaning that gives you the freedom to delve a little deeper and explore your character past the shows limitations.

I don't limit the cast to one setting, letting their characters be established anywhere in America. The plot is driven so that cast are given reasons to travel, to explore new places and meet new people.
I encourage players to be as interactive as they want to be, exploring new threads, posting with other players and creating their own scenes.
While I do accept many different characters and concepts, I would prefer there only being one of any character (one Buffy, one Eric) to avoid confusion.

A lot of my cast are really good RPers. They are a good group to interact with.

It's new, just getting it's start over here on Dreamwidth. Used to be on LJ until my life took a bad turn. I always had fun so hoping to spread that here as well.

It's great to see some of my old faves transferring over to DW.

I was wondering if you would like to affiliate with our three comms,
PS. You mentioned you had two comms coming over, we'd be happy to affiliate with both.

Characters can return home once they find a floating star called a Starite. This can be easy or it can be an adventure. Optional weekly themes are there to give people ideas. It's very much geared towards easy, casual play and repeat CR.
